TILT STEERING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A tilt steering assembly includes an adjustable steering column and a damper connected to the steering column for maintaining the steering column position relative to an instrument panel. A column cover partially covers the steering column and the damper. The column cover includes a lower skirt, a cover member partially closing an opening defined by the lower skirt and the instrument panel for the steering column and damper, and a seal member provided beneath the cover member. The steering column and damper extend through the cover member. The seal member is fitted over the damper and includes an opening sized to receive the column cover. During adjustment of the steering column, the cover member is configured to flex outwardly creating a gap for movement of the steering column and damper, and the seal member is configured to press against an inner surface of the cover member to close the gap.

EXTENSIBLE PAPER AND ITS USE IN THE PRODUCTION OF EXPANDED SLIT PACKAGING WRAP AND VOID FILL PRODUCTS
20210024266 · 2021-01-28 ·

An extensible slit sheet paper product is produced having an expandable slit pattern that forms open cells upon expansion of the paper product. The paper product is an extensible paper having an extensibility in the range from 1-9% in the machine direction and 1-5% in the cross direction. The expansion produces an array of hexagonal cells. The expanded extensible paper can be used to wrap an object for shipping by wrapping and cushioning the object in the expanded slit sheet material. The extensible, expandable slit sheet paper can be wrapped around itself to produce a void fill product.

A liquid absorbent body includes a water absorbent resin, and a small piece aggregate that includes a plurality of small pieces having a pulp fiber base material carrying the water absorbent resin, in which the pulp fiber base material is provided with a cutout portion that exposes a pulp fiber inside the pulp fiber base material, other than an outer peripheral end surface that defines an outer shape of the small piece. The cutout portion is preferably provided at a depth of half or more of the pulp fiber base material in a thickness direction. The small piece preferably includes a pair of pulp fiber base materials, and the water absorbent resin is preferably provided between the pulp fiber base materials.

Molded product

A molded product includes a body including a flat part and a projection protruding from the flat part, a design member including a design surface, and an adhesive member sticking the design member to the body. The adhesive member includes a buffer portion formed by cutting off a part of the adhesive member at a position corresponding at least to the projection. Thus, the adhesive member negates differences in level on the body, allowing the design surface to be smooth.

APERTURED WEBS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME

A disposable absorbent article having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed therebetween is described. The topsheet has an array of apertures forming apertured indicia. The array of apertures includes a first plurality of apertures having a first aspect ratio; a second plurality of apertures having a second aspect ratio and a first Absolute Feret Angle; and a third plurality of apertures having a third aspect ratio and a second Absolute Feret Angle, wherein the first Absolute Feret Angle and the second Absolute Feret Angle are different, and wherein the first aspect ratio is less than the second and third aspect ratios.
