The recessed surface (26) defines a display area (56) surrounded on all sides by an expansion zone (58) extending between the display area (56) and the shoulders (30, 32) of the weight plate (18) that define the recessed surface (26) to permit limited expansion of perimeter edges (62A, 62B) of the decal assembly (20) into the expansion zone (58) without contacting the shoulders (30, 32) whenever the weight plate (18) experiences a bounce shock.

A resin component includes a natural wooden veneer, a light-transmitting ink printed layer, an adhesive layer, and a light-transmitting reinforcement layer. The veneer includes a sparseness portion and a denseness portion of conduits, is 50% or more and 80% or less in light transmittance, and is 0.1 mm or more and 0.6 mm or less in plate thickness. The light-transmitting ink printed layer is formed on a first surface of the veneer, is 2 m or more and 20 m or less in thickness, and contains a pigment or a dye. The adhesive layer is formed on a second surface which is an opposite side of the first surface of the veneer. The reinforcement layer is formed on a surface, which is an opposite side of the veneer, of the adhesive layer.

Provided by the present inventions are a pattern-printed sheet and a method for manufacturing this, wherein the pattern-printed sheet is characterized that on a precoat layer laminated on a substrate are formed an optically readable region in which a dot pattern optically readable by an input terminal is printed and an optically unreadable region in which a dot pattern optically unreadable by an input terminal is printed, and the dot pattern formed in the optically unreadable region is a halftone tint having regularity whose halftone dot concentration is in the range of 10 to 30%. This pattern-printed sheet not only can be obtained by using a gravure printing method having outstanding production efficiency but also has a dot pattern readable with high reading precision in a prescribed dot size.
