Foam composite sheet
10479047 · 2019-11-19 · ·

The foam composite sheet of the present invention comprises a polyolefin resin foam sheet and a metallic thin film provided on at least one surface of the foam sheet, the metallic thin film being formed of a material selected from metals, alloys containing a plurality of metals, and the like, in an amount of deposition of 5 to 1,000 g/cm.sup.2.

Sealing sheet

The present invention provides a sealing sheet containing a flame retardant adhesive sheet having a flame retardant-containing adhesive layer, wherein the flame retardant-containing adhesive layer has a void content of 5-40%.

Modified cold applied asphalt emulsion

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an adhesive asphalt emulsion. The adhesive asphalt emulsion can be prepared in liquid form and applied to a material, such as a film or fabric, to create a self-adhering membrane. In some embodiments, the adhesive can be water vapor permeable, and can be applied in a continuous layer to a membrane. The adhesive asphalt emulsion can be prepared, applied, and in service at low temperatures.

Selectively-releasable adhesives and articles that incorporate them

In one embodiment, a selectively-releasable adhesive includes a base adhesive compound and a releasing compound that is blended with the base adhesive compound, the releasing compound being capable of decreasing the adhesive strength of the base adhesive compound when a releasing agent is applied to the selectively-releasable adhesive.

Adhesive tape containing getter material

The aim of the invention is to effectively protect a flat adhesive compound from permeates originating from the surroundings as well as from permeates trapped during lamination, winding, stacking or other processing steps. For this purpose, the adhesive tape comprises at least the following layers in the indicated order: a first outer adhesive compound layer A, a layer B, which contains at least one inorganic getter material, and a second outer adhesive compound layer C. The invention also relates to the use of said adhesive tape as an encapsulation material.

Adhesive tape

An adhesive tape includes a foam base and an adhesive layer disposed on at least one surface of the foam base, in which the foam base has a thickness of 120 m or less, a 25% compressive strength of 160 MPa or more, and a density of 0.4 g/cm.sup.3 or more, and an average bubble diameter in a vertical direction of the foam base is 23 to 50 m. Even though the adhesive tape has a small thickness, with this adhesive tape, it is possible to realize excellent waterproofness due to good conformability to an adherend, such drop impact resistance that detachment of the adhesive tape and cracking of the foam base at the time of dropping do not easily occur, and such excellent reworkability that a component can be efficiently separated even in the case where a problem occurs.

Adhesive compounds

The invention relates to multiphase compositions of matter comprising at least an acrylic phase and a hydrocarbon phase, and more specifically to pressure sensitive adhesive compositions of matter of an acrylic-hydrocarbon polymer and an additional hydrocarbon component which has a molecular weight of at least 1,000 and may include one or both of an oligomeric hydrocarbon and a polymeric hydrocarbon.
