ADHESIVE TAPE PARTICULARLY FOR OILY SURFACES
The invention relates to an adhesive tape, comprising at least one layer of a first, heat-curable adhesive material and, on one of the surfaces of the heat-curable adhesive material layer, a layer of a second, pressure-sensitive adhesive material, characterized in that the second, pressure-sensitive adhesive material is based on one or more unvulcanized rubbers having a saturated carbon chain of the polymethylene type.
ADHESIVE SHEET
Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that may be used for the grinding of a hard and brittle substrate in a backgrinding step for the hard and brittle substrate, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet being excellent in all of low contamination property, productivity, grinding accuracy, and peelability. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a thickness of from 1 μm to 300 μm, and wherein a microhardness H (Pa) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at 25° C. and the thickness, which is represented by h.sub.A (μm), of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer satisfy a relationship represented by the following expression (1). log H≥1.9385×log h.sub.A+4.2611 . . . (1)
Organic electronic device
Provided are an adhesive composition and an organic electronic device (OED) including the same, and particularly, an adhesive composition, which may form a structure effectively blocking moisture or oxygen flowing into an OED from the outside, realize a top-emission OED and exhibit excellent handleability and processability, and an OED including the same.
Non-Swelling Hot Melt Adhesive
Provided herein is a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprising one or more styrene block copolymers, a tackifier, and polyisobutylene plasticizer, wherein the adhesive contains less than 1 wt % of a plasticizer oil. The adhesive can be used in a label construction along with a facestock such as a polyethylene facestock, wherein the swelling factor of the facestock is reduced as compared to the swelling factor of the facestock in labels that include a plasticizer oil. Also provided are methods for producing and using the hot melt adhesive, and articles labeled with the hot melt adhesive.
ADHESIVE AGENT AND ADHESIVE TAPE USING SAID ADHESIVE AGENT
An object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion-based adhesive having excellent adhesive force, excellent heat resistance of adhesive force, excellent holding power, less adhesive residue and good “tack”.
According to the present invention, an emulsion-based adhesive comprising: a styrene-butadiene rubber; a natural rubber; and a tackifier, wherein a gel fraction of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 20 to 60% by mass, a content of the natural rubber with respect to 100 parts by mass of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 10 to 35 parts by mass, a content of the tackifier with respect to 100 parts by mass of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 100 to 150 parts by mass, and a ratio of a styrene monomer unit in a total amount of the styrene-butadiene rubber and the natural rubber contained in the adhesive is 5 to 15% by mass, is provided.
Adhesive Acrylate-Olefin Copolymers, Methods for Producing Same and Compositions Utilizing Same
The present invention relates to an adhesive compositions, facestocks and/or packaging labels containing same, where such compositions, facestocks and/or labels are designed to facilitate the recyclability of a plastic article formed from any suitable polymer or mixture of polymers (e.g., a polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), or others of all plastic types), or even glass bottles. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for removing an adhesive composition, facestock and/or packaging label containing same, from a plastic article that is to be recycled.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS FOR ELECTRONIC BONDING APPLICATIONS
The present disclosure relates to a curable pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising: a) a butyl rubber component in an amount greater than 40 wt %; b) a tackifier in an amount greater than 1 wt %; c) a multifunctional crosslinking agent comprising at least two nitroso functional groups; and d) optionally, a hydrocarbon plasticizer; wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the curable pressure sensitive adhesive composition. In another aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a method for protecting an electronic device or an electronic component from moisture and air permeation, wherein the method comprises the step of using a pressure sensitive adhesive composition as described above. According to still another aspect, the present disclosure is directed to the use of a pressure sensitive adhesive composition as described above for manufacturing an electronic device.
MASK ADHESIVE AND PELLICLE COMPRISING SAME
The present invention provides a mask adhesive that plastically deforms easily, no adhesive residue remains after peeling from the mask, ease of handling is excellent, and haze on a pellicle film is unlikely to be increased. A mask adhesive resolving this problem contains a thermoplastic elastomer (A) for which the temperature at which the loss tangent measured at a frequency of 1 Hz is at a maximum value is 20 to 30 C., a tackifier resin (B), and a process oil (C).
