Resin film, laminate, method for producing same, and method for producing fuel cell
A polymer film comprises a polymer composition containing (A) a cyclic olefin polymer and (B) a chlorine-containing polymer. The chlorine-containing polymer (B) may comprise a vinylidene chloride-series polymer. The cyclic olefin polymer (A) may comprise a cyclic olefin copolymer. The ratio of the chlorine-containing polymer (B) relative to 100 parts by weight of the cyclic olefin polymer (A) may be 0.5 to 60 parts by weight. The film has a moderate releasability from an electrolyte membrane and an electrode membrane of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell and a moderate adhesion to the electrolyte membrane and the electrode membrane and can adhere to a commonly-used substrate film without interposition of an adhesive layer such as an easily adhesive layer. The film is thus suitable as a release film for producing a membrane electrode assembly of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell.
Composite thermoplastic laminate
A composite sheet material includes a cover sheet, a substrate and an adhesion promoting layer. The cover sheet has a cover sheet material. The substrate has a substrate material. The adhesion promoting layer is disposed between the cover sheet and the substrate. A first side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the cover sheet has an affinity to bond with the cover sheet material. A second side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the substrate has an affinity to bond with the substrate material.
Flexible barrier films containing cyclic olefins
Various polymeric barrier compositions are described which when formed into films, are useful in reducing transmission of odors. The films can be incorporated into a wide range of products such as multilayer barrier films used in medical applications and particularly in ostomy appliances. In certain versions, the films include blends of amorphous cyclic olefin copolymers and semi-crystalline cyclic olefin copolymers.
SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A sealing film suitable for food packaging is provided, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from inside to outside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.
Three-dimensional printing with multi-material support
Three-dimensional printer fabrication is improved by receiving a digital model of an object specifying two or more different build materials, prioritizing the different build materials with a ranking, identifying exclusive locations where a surface layer of the object has one of the build materials, generating an external structure for the object according to one or more design rules, matching a first build material of the external structure to a second build material of the object at each of the exclusive locations, the matching based on at least one shared property of the materials, generating tool instructions for fabricating the object and the external structure, the tool instructions including one or more selections between the first build material and the second build material based upon the ranking and the matching, and controlling the three-dimensional printer according to the tool instructions to fabricate the object and the external structure.
Packaging material and item of packaging
Packaging material for producing deep-drawn plastics material packagings, particularly of multipack packagings, wherein the material is constructed to be breakable, and packaging produced therefrom.
Hot melt adhesive
A hot melt adhesive material and articles made using the hot melt adhesive to assemble structures in an article. The adhesive material typically is manufactured by blending amorphous polymer with a heterophase polymer having crystallinity into an adhesive composition.

Film and method for packaging a compressible product in a compressed state and packaged compressible product
The present invention relates to a method for packaging a compressible product in a compressed state, comprising the step of sealing at least two parts of a polymeric machine direction oriented (MDO) film which encloses at least part of the compressible product in the compressed state, characterized in that the seal has a seal elongation at failure of about 20% to about 100%, as measured in accordance with ASTM F88/F88M-09. The present invention also relates to a compressible product in a compressed state packaged in a polymeric MDO film which encloses at least part of the compressible product, wherein at least two parts of the MDO film are sealed and characterized in that the seal has a seal elongation at failure of about 20% to about 100%, as measured in accordance with ASTM F88/F88M-09.
HIGH-SLIP STRETCH FILM
A multi-layer stretch wrap film has three or more layers, including at least one outer non-cling layer, at least one inner core layer, and at least one outer cling layer, where the film displays enhanced non-cling properties after being stretched.
