SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE
The present invention is concerned with a skin treatment device, in particular a temporal hair removal device, having a light emission unit having a substrate, a plurality of first LED dies mounted on the substrate on an area of at least 0.2 cm.sup.2, in particular of at least 1.0 cm.sup.2, where the first LED dies are each arranged for emitting light at a first peak emission wavelength in the far red or infrared wavelength range of between 700 nm and 980 nm, and at least one second LED die arranged for emitting light at a second peak emission wavelength in the visible wavelength range of between 400 nm and below 700 nm, wherein the skin treatment device is arranged to activate the first LED dies to emit a treatment light pulse, the treatment light pulse in particular having a pulse length of between 10 ms and 300 ms, and the first LED dies have a radiant flux such that a radiant fluence on the skin of a user of at least 1 J/cm.sup.2 is achieved by application of the treatment light pulse, and the skin treatment device is arranged to activate the at least one second LED die to emit a visible light pulse simultaneously with the emission of the treatment light pulse.
Method and apparatus for skin treatment
Disclosed is a system and method for treatment of skin disorders. More particularly, the disclosed invention is directed toward the use of multiple light sources for treating skin with or without the use of a topical compositions or photomodulation enhancing agents. Dual light emitting diodes may, for example, be used at relatively low power (less than about 10 J/cm2) to photomodulate skin or living tissue to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, acne, acne bacteria, and other skin disorders.
Capsule with whole body LED photo-therapy system
A personal therapy compartment includes a base of size to receive a human patient. The compartment includes a bed in the base said bed being made of a light transmissive material. An array of lights mounted is below the bed to transmit light onto a body supported on the bed. A control panel controls at least the wavelength, intensity and pulsation of the light.
Methods for treating baldness and promoting hair growth
The invention relates to methods of treating baldness, treating alopecia, promoting hair growth, and/or promoting hair follicle development and/or activation or stimulation on an area of the skin of a subject (for example, a human) by subjecting said area of the skin to integumental perturbation. Integumental perturbation can be used in combination with other treatments for promoting hair growth. The invention provides devices for integumental perturbation for promoting hair growth, and provides pharmaceutical compositions for use in combination with integumental perturbation for promoting hair growth.
LIGHT BASED THERAPY DEVICES AND METHODS
The present invention relates to a light therapy apparatus, system, and method for providing light delivered to a body organ, e.g., skin such as a scalp, via one or more light guides in therapeutic dosages from one or more light sources operating in a variety of wavelengths. The light source may comprise one or more LEDs coupled to an illumination assembly, wherein an array of illumination assemblies may be coupled to a dome configured for conformal placement near or on a body organ. The plurality of illumination assemblies may be actuated upon by one or more actuators that form an active system to cause conformal contact with the body organ utilizing one or more actuator types. A control system may be operably connected to the plurality of illumination assemblies to control one or more parameters, such as localized light position and intensity, and activation of the actuators.
LASER HAT WITH ADJUSTABLE FIT
A laser hat with an adjustable fit is provided, which includes a hat body, a plurality of laser modules, a flexible printed circuit board and an adjustment mechanism. The hat body is made of a honeycomb structure. A woven mesh can be used on an inner layer of the hat body. The plurality of laser modules are disposed on the flexible printed circuit board. The flexible printed circuit board is disposed in the hat body and drives the plurality of laser modules, which are used to irradiate a user's head to stimulate hair follicles, and can also be used for laser acupuncture and laser health care treatments for the head. The adjustment mechanism is disposed on one side of the hat body that can be used to adjust a hat fit.
PORTABLE HAIR AND SCALP TREATMENT DEVICE WITH CONDUCTIVE BRISTLES
Brush portions are configured for use with a handheld device. The brush portion includes at least one bristle disposed on a bristle base, the bristle having an elongate first electrode, an elongate second electrode abutting the first electrode, and an insulator disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are electrically connectable to a first voltage source and a second voltage source of the device, respectively.
Laser device for dermocosmetic treatments and tracing kit
A laser device for dermocosmetic, medical, or aesthetic treatments, comprising: A) a laser system comprising a lamp-pumped source; B) an optical fibre transporting the laser beam produced by said source; C) a handpiece or a scanner connected to said optical fibre, comprising a lens and mirror system projecting the image of the laser beam onto the area to be treated; characterized in that said optical fibre has a rectangular section and said image is rectangular. A method of dermocosmetic laser treatment characterized by rectangular laser spots is also claimed. It is a further object of the present invention a tracing kit, which allows the marking of a surface area, preferably of biological tissue, with a fluorescent or photosensitive substance invisible to light.
