The invention relates to a device for acting on at least parts of the body of a user, in particular with medical-cosmetic radiation and/or by mechanical influence, comprising means for acting (22, 23) on the human body, which have adjustable operating parameters, and a controller (38), which is connected to the means for acting (22, 23) and sets the operating parameters. A device for acting on at least parts of the body of a user, which device can be set to the needs of the user, in particular even during operation, is provided according to the invention in that at least one microphone is provided, by means of which voice inputs of the user for controlling the operating parameters can be captured, and in that the microphone is connected to an evaluation unit, which converts voice inputs captured by the microphone into control commands for the means for acting (22, 23).

Light therapy bed with illuminated mesh support structure
12397168 · 2025-08-26 · ·

Apparatus and method for applying photobiomodulation (PBM) light illumination therapy to a patient. A light therapy bed has a PBM mesh structure supported by a rigid frame to form a patient support surface adapted to contactingly support the patient. The mesh structure has respective illuminating and non-illuminating strands which interconnect to form a conformable, open hammock-type support structure with an array of mesh apertures extending therethrough. The illuminating strands have light sources such as light emitting diodes (LEDs) which emit electromagnetic radiation at one or more selected frequencies. A control circuit activates the light sources in accordance with a selected modulation profile. In further embodiments, an upper PBM mesh structure can be lowered to concurrently irradiate the patient. The open mesh areas can constitute 50% or more of the overall areal extent of the mesh to provide patient cooling and application of additional light from a supplemental source.

Phototherapy device

In an exemplary embodiment, a phototherapy device capable of delivering natural sunlight to a subject is provided. The phototherapy device includes a bassinet configured to hold a subject for treatment, an angular non-domed enclosure having an angled front wall and made from a flexible, transparent material connected to the incubator to create a space therein, and in some embodiments a support for supporting the bassinet. The enclosure formed around the bassinet allows visible sunlight to enter the enclosure in any direction for treating the subject while partially filtering ultraviolet (UV) and infrared radiation (IR) rays of the visible sunlight from entering the device, and is configured to direct incident IR rays out of the enclosure such that there is no build-up of heat that would harm the subject resting therein.

Light therapy device

Technology for a light therapy device is disclosed. The light therapy device can comprise: a housing; and a combination of light sources coupled to the housing in an orientation operable to radiate a subject, and provide light therapy from the combination of light sources. The combination of light sources can include: a first discrete light source configured to emit light at a wavelength limited to between about 500 nanometers (nm) to about 700 nm; a second discrete light source configured to emit light at a wavelength limited to between about 700 nm to about 850 nm; a third discrete light source configured to emit light at a wavelength limited to between about 800 nm to about 900 nm; and a fourth discrete light source configured to emit light at a wavelength limited to between about 850 nm to about 1050 nm.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IRRADIATING A REGION OF THE SKIN OF A SUBJECT

The present invention relates to a method of determining the skin reflectance of a region of the skin of a subject by supplying a defined amount of energy and irradiating the region of the skin of the subject for a defined period of time and measuring the change of temperature of the skin of the subject (T) during the defined period of time. The present invention further relates to a system for irradiating the skin of a subject comprising: a radiation emitting unit, a radiation energy source connected to the radiation emitting unit, a control unit communicatively connected to the radiation energy source, and a measuring unit for measuring one or more physiological parameters of the subject, further comprising: an user interface configured to store safety and irradiation parameters, wherein the system is configured 1) to interrupt or adjust the energy supply to the radiation emitting unit in case the temperature of the skin of the subject exceeds a maximum temperature, and 2) to execute a radiation regime and wherein the radiation regime is defined such that one or more of the irradiation parameters are taken into account during irradiation.

PHOTOTHERAPY APPARATUS

A phototherapy apparatus is provided for delivering light to an infant. The phototherapy apparatus includes a light source sheet having light emitters that are electrically isolated from the external environment using an isolating covering. Light from the light emitters is diffused by a spacing layer before being emitted from the spacing layer.

System and method for therapeutic treatment using light and pulse modulation
12472373 · 2025-11-18 ·

A system and method for a whole-body immersion bed or cabinet that permits the user to experience the therapy on their entire body at the same time. The therapy in its most basic form is a combination light, and sound therapy. Each therapy session includes a set of resonant frequencies and a set of beneficial light wavelengths applied to the user at the same time. The resonant frequencies are applied through specific pulses that are chosen based upon the condition that the therapy is attempting to treat. Additionally, the resonant frequencies may be applied through a frequency pulse generator. The frequency pulse generator is set to a pre-established set of frequencies that have been shown to be effective for treating each particular condition.
