HIGH EMISSIVITY FAR INFRARED CERAMIC MODULE FOR THERAPEUTIC DEVICE
This invention relates to a ceramic module for assembly into a therapeutic device for treating a human or animal body with irradiation of far infrared. More specifically, said ceramic module can simultaneously emit blackbody-like thermal radiation and stimulated FIR-photons radiation in 3-16 μm wavelength spectrum, while the overall radiation in 8-14 μm wavelength range is measured to be an approximated blackbody radiation at a temperature that is at least 1 °K. (or 1 °C.) higher than the actual body temperature of said ceramic module, signifying an effective emissivity greater than 1.0. Said ceramic module may be used alone or serve as components of a therapeutic device for increasing physiologic performance, immune competence, health, and mean lifespan of human or animal.
Antimicrobial light-emitting percutaneous site dressing
An antimicrobial light dressing device, system and method for a percutaneous treatment that bathes a treatment region around the percutaneous insertion with an antibacterial illumination source for preventing pathogens around the insertion from entering via the dermal puncture created by the insertion. The antimicrobial light dressing device combines a circumferential body centered around the insertion, and an arrangement of LEDs around the body that focus the light around the insertion and onto a therapeutic region of the insertion. An opening in the circumferential body has an articulated protrusion for offsetting a medicinal vessel such as an IV tube off the skin surface to avoid blocking light to an area under the vessel.
WEARABLE APPARATUS FOR THE TREATMENT OF MASTITIS
Wearable apparatus for the treatment of mastitis, the apparatus comprising a mammary gland wearable comprising an array of light source elements thereon emitting electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength in the range of 380-1050 nm, a power supply coupled to the array of light source elements, the wearable configured to be worn against a mammary gland in use wherein the array of light source elements emit the radiation which penetrates epidermis of the mammary gland for the treatment of mastitis.
SYSTEM FOR CORNEAL CROSS-LINKING AND CORRECTING VISION BY USING LED CONTACT LENS AND EYE DYE
The present invention relates to a system for corneal crosslinking of injured corneas, treating keratoconus, or correcting vision, the system comprising: a hyaluronic acid-dye conjugate; and a contact lens including an LED light source.
In the present invention, a dye is activated by receiving light irradiated from the LED light source of the contact lens so as to generate radicals, thereby generating a covalent bond between amino acid radicals of corneal collagen, and strengthening a collagen layer. In the present invention, the hyaluronic acid-dye conjugate, in which hyaluronic acid is bound to the dye, is used to improve penetration of the dye in the cornea, and the contact lens is used together with the hyaluronic acid-dye conjugate to further improve the penetration of the dye. In addition, the structure of the lens which presses the center of the cornea deforms the shape of the cornea, thereby having a vision correction effect.
REHABILITATION ASSISTANT SYSTEM FOR PATIENTS WITH DEPRESSION
A rehabilitation assistant system for a patient with depression is provided, comprising a support unit, an audio stimulation unit, an acupoint stimulation unit, an electronic stimulation unit, a display and optical frequency-flashed stimulation and an exercise unit. The audio stimulation unit comprises two speakers configured for broadcasting a binaural beats with frequency following response which has an audio frequency difference to two ears of the user. The acupoint stimulation unit comprises acupoint agents, and at least a part of the acupoint agents are arranged on the support unit. The electronic stimulation unit comprises two electrical stimulation agents arranged on the support unit, and the display and optical frequency-flashed stimulation is arranged on the support unit and is switchable between a display mode and an optical frequency-flashed stimulation mode so that multiple stimulations are performed simultaneously in a single treatment course.
LIGHT THERAPY WEARABLE
A wearable for providing light therapy to a wearer includes at least one fabric panel having an inner surface that when the wearable is worn is configured to face a wearer's skin and at least one side-emitting optical fiber affixed to the inner surface. The side-emitting optical fiber is optically connectable with an optical fiber light source and configured to project light having a therapeutic wavelength toward a wearer of the wearable. When affixed to the fabric panel, the side-emitting optical fiber can have a length in meters based on the optical power launched into the side-emitting optical fiber and the average attenuation of the side-emitting optical fiber.
Wearable Light Therapy Device
A wearable photobiomodulation device comprises a shell portion and an illumination module and is configured to deliver light to a photoresponsive tissue of an individual. In some embodiments, the illumination module provides red and/or infrared light to a photoresponsive tissue on an individual at a dose of between about 5-50 mJ/cm.sup.2 over a target illumination area of about 100-200 cm.sup.2. Exemplary devices may be configured as a wearable sports cup with an integral or detachable illumination module that provides effective amounts of light to a target are to so effect photobiomodulation in an individual wearing the device.
BLOOD PRESSURE LOWERING TRAINING DEVICE
A blood pressure lowering training device comprises a head frame unit corresponding to a user's head shape, an audio stimulation unit for broadcasting binaural beats with frequency following response to both ears of the user, a display unit including a display module for displaying a virtual image and blood pressure information and a blood pressure measurement module for measuring blood pressure, and a control unit electrically connected with the audio stimulation unit and the display unit, so that the hypertensive patient can perform a variety of adjustable blood pressure lowering training in one use process, and effectively improve the use intention of the hypertensive patient.
Wearable Fabric for Photo-stimulating a Biological System
A wearable fabric for photo-stimulating a biological system includes at least one piece of textile, a plurality of bioceramic particles, and at least one nutrient-based precursor. The at least one piece of textile includes a plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers, an outer textile surface, and an inner textile surface. The outer textile surface and the inner textile surface are positioned opposite to each other about the at least one piece of textile. The quantity of bioceramic particles is uniformly integrated amongst the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers. The at least one nutrient-based precursor is integrated amongst the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers as the at least one nutrient-based precursor is configured to frictionally dislodge from the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers as the inner textile surface is in physical contact with a wearer's skin to stimulate the production of Vitamin D and to stimulate bone growth.
