Disposable canister for sealant for inflatable article repair and inflation kit, and production thereof
A disposable canister filled with sealant liquid has an inner closure for retaining the sealant liquid inside the canister; a compressed-air inlet conduit; an outlet conduit for receiving the sealant liquid when the closure is in an open position; a first portion having one of the inlet and outlet conduits; and a second portion; the first and second portions being joined by a weld to form a tank which holds the sealant liquid in a ready-for-use position by means of the closure.
Method of forming a welded full contact floating roof for a storage tank
A method for forming a sealed floating roof for a storage tank is disclosed. A plurality of roof panels are positioned adjacent to one another such that respective depressions of adjacent roof panels disposed adjacent to one another form a walled trough at interconnections of the plurality of roof panels. A self-propelled automatic welder is positioned and guided within the walled trough to make a weld joint at the walled trough, and thus forming the sealed floating roof.
Methods of forming heat set annuloplasty rings
An annuloplasty repair segment for heart valve annulus repair and a method for forming. A multi-stranded cable replaces solid core wire for both the tricuspid and mitral valves which allows for greater deployment flexibility for minimally-invasive surgical (MIS) implant, while still maintaining the required strength and similar tensile properties of solid-core wire. The particular shape of the annuloplasty ring is fixed using a heat setting process including heating the flexible core member to a temperature higher than 500 C. and holding it in a desired heat-set saddle shape for a period of time. The core is then rapidly cooled to impart physical properties such that the flexible core member can be straightened, during implantation, to fit through a tubular access device and regain the heat-set saddle shape after exiting the access device and, when attached to the native heart valve, the flexible core member is strong enough to remodel the native heart valve.
Tab-and-slot frame members with a stringer
A frame may comprise a plurality of interlocking tab-and-slot frame members forming a three-dimensional structure. A removable stringer may be designed into one or more of the interlocking tab-and-slot frame members. The stringers may be removed after positioning and welding of tab-and slot frame members together. Notches may also be designed into and formed as additional features of a tab-and-slot frame member. Notches may serve as a guide for bending tab-and-slot frame members and in the creation of tabs and/or slots of the tab-and-slot frame members.
MULTI-STRANDED HEAT SET ANNULOPLASTY RINGS
An annuloplasty repair segment for heart valve annulus repair. In one embodiment a multi-stranded cable replaces solid core wire for both the tricuspid and mitral valves. Cable allows for greater deployment flexibility for minimally-invasive surgical (MIS) implant, while still maintaining the required strength and similar tensile properties of solid-core wire. Stranded cable provides a MIS annuloplasty ring with sufficient flexibility in the x-y plane to allow a surgeon to squeeze the ring into a small incision, such as being able to pass through an 18 Fr or smaller catheter, while maintaining structural rigidity under forces exerted on the implanted ring by the cardiac cycle. The particular shape of the annuloplasty ring is fixed using a heat setting process.
PERCUTANEOUS CATHETER DIRECTED COLLAPSIBLE MEDICAL CLOSURE DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an improved collapsible medical closure device fabricated from a tubular wire mesh material. The collapsible medical closure device has an expanded preset configuration and an elongated collapsed reduced diameter configuration for delivery through a delivery catheter or other delivery means to a desired treatment site. The collapsible medical closure device is shaped to create short-term and long-term occlusion of an opening, such as an opening in the wall of the heart, and includes a disc shaped portion on a distal end, a cone shaped portion on a proximal end, a middle portion connecting the disc shaped portion and the cone shaped portion, and a means for attaching a delivery cable located in the middle portion. The collapsible medical closure device additionally includes a therapeutic membrane for aiding in occlusion and promoting tissue growth, as well as one or more radiopaque marker bands.
Method for manufacturing an exhaust system and exhaust system
An exhaust system is manufactured in the following manner. Initially, a plurality of pipe sections are put into each other with a clearance fit, so that connecting points are formed, at which two pipe sections overlap each other. The pipe sections then are calibrated at the connecting points, so that a narrow gap is obtained. Subsequently, the connecting points are soldered. The exhaust system thus includes a plurality of pipe sections which are put into each other and soldered to each other. Outer pipe sections of the plurality of pipe sections are calibrated.
Functional razor cartridge
A method of forming a functional razor cartridge for repeated shaving comprises rapid prototyping a housing of a razor cartridge. The housing has a front wall, a rear wall and opposing side walls disposed transverse to and between said front and rear walls. The method further comprises loading a metal insert with one or more elongate blade assemblies and disposing the metal insert in the housing such that the one or more blade assemblies extend between the opposing side walls of the housing.

Cable allows for greater deployment flexibility for minimally-invasive surgical (MIS) implant, while still maintaining the required strength and similar tensile properties of solid-core wire.
