Gun safety storage system
A safety storage system includes a safety case with case body and a case lid; a lock bag with a bag portion made from a cut-resistant material and a cable guide; and a cable lock, including a lock body, a lock cable, and a key; such that the lock cable protrudes through the cable guide to attach the cable lock to the lock bag; such that the safety case with the handgun inside can be locked inside the lock bag with the cable lock, whereby the handgun is safely stored in the safety storage system. Additionally, the safety storage system can be secured in position with the lock cable attached to a mounting structure with the lock bag closed and the safety case with the handgun inside locked in the interior of the lock bag, thereby preventing access to and theft of the handgun.

Tethered fastener
A fastener for securing together articles, such as pull-tabs of a zipper, includes a gate arranged to slide in a channel in a body between a closed position, in which the gate closes the mouth of a recess in the body, and an open position, in which the mouth is open. A fixture at one end of the gate is provided for connecting a tether. A latch member prevents the gate from sliding from the closed position when in the locked position and is resiliently urged to the locked position and configured so that, in use, the latch member is pressed and moved to the unlocked position when a user grasps the body and, in the unlocked position with a tether connected to the fixture, tension in the tether tends to slide the gate to the open position.

Cut resistant and highly translucent tote
A cut resistant and highly translucent tote utilizes a multilayer knitted metal fabric having a knitted metal outside layer and a knitted metal inside layer. These two knitted layers may be independent in a portion of the tote, such as in a clear-view portion of the tote, configured to allow clear visibility of items retained in the tote. The independent layers of knitted fabric are highly cut resistant, as they can flex in multiple direction and also move and slide with respect to each other. The tote may have a gusseted base with a base-side sleeve extending at the intersection of the base and sides to allow the tote to be free standing. An opening in the top of the tote may have a closure feature, such as hook-and-loop fastener material.
APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING EMERGENCY FEATURE ACTIVATION FOR MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A case includes a case body configured to be equipped by the mobile electronic device. The case body includes at least two button accessing means and the mobile electronic device includes at least two physical buttons. The case further includes an actuator coupled to the case body and movable between at least a first position and a second position, where the actuator comprises two or more engagement members. The engagement members, in cooperation with the button accessing means, depress corresponding physical buttons of the mobile electronic device when the mobile electronic device is equipped with the case and the actuator is in the second position. The engagement members are configured to not depress corresponding physical buttons of the mobile electronic device when the actuator is in the first position.
Cut-Proof Anti-Theft Bag Construction
In one form, a security handbag is provided that includes an interior security panel assembly with a matrix of wires secured between a pair of material layers. The interior security panel assembly can be positioned intermediate the bag outside wall and a lining of the bag. A strap with security cable and a carabiner attachment device can be attached to the handbag. Methods for forming such security panel assemblies are also provided.
