RELEASE MECHANISM
A release mechanism generates a force on a cable to operate an adjustment mechanism or the like in a seat or other device. The release mechanism includes a rotor, a housing, a spring, and a cover that attaches to the housing. The spring generates a torque, and the spring also axially biases the rotor into engagement with the cover to prevent rattling.
Actuation device of the control cable of a front derailleur of a bicycle
A front derailleur actuation device having a cable-winding bush in a casing rotatable about axis (X) in a first angular direction (A) between a first angular position and a last two angular positions to actuate a member mounted rotatable about axis (X) and a stationary member mounted in the casing. Either the rotating member or the stationary member is provided with at least one pointer slidably engaged on a fastening track equipped with a plurality of stop areas provided on the other member. The stationary member or the rotating member provided with the fastening track further comprises at least one further stop area not arranged along the fastening track, said further stop area being engageable by the pointer and being arranged between two successive stop areas of said fastening track, the cable-winding bush passing between two angular positions following the passage of the pointer between two stop areas.
Bicycle shift operating device
A bicycle shift operating device basically has a base member, a shift wire take-up element rotatably mounted with respect to the base member and a shifting unit operatively coupled to the shift wire take-up element to selectively rotate the shift wire take-up element in first and second rotational directions about a pivot axis. The shifting unit includes a shift operating member pivotally mounted with respect to the base member along a pivotal path to operate the shift wire take-up element in the first rotational direction in response to pivotal movement of the shift operating member about an operating axis. The shift operating member is movably mounted with respect to the base member along a non-pivotal path to operate the shift wire take-up element in the second rotational direction in response to non-pivotal movement of the shift operating member with respect to the operating axis.
Bicycle operating device
A bicycle operating device comprises a base member, an operating construction, a wire takeup member, a ratchet member, a first pawl, and an actuating member. The wire takeup member is configured to be rotatable relative to the base member about a rotational axis in a first direction and a second direction. The ratchet member has ratchet teeth. The actuating member includes a second pawl. The actuating member is configured to move the first pawl away from the ratchet member and to engage the second pawl with one of the ratchet teeth, in response to a second operation of the operating construction.
Control cable actuation device
A control cable actuation device designed to be attached to a handlebar-steered vehicle frame member for a cable assembly including a control cable slidably disposed within a control cable housing. The actuation device includes a cable adjuster attachable to the frame member and an actuation lever configured to displace one end of the control cable. The cable adjuster is configured to receive the control cable and to axially displace to slidably displace the cable within the cable housing under cable adjustment. The lever is rotatably attached to the cable adjuster about a first axis to slidably displace the cable within the cable housing under cable actuation. The lever is also configured to rotate about a second axis to axially displace the cable adjuster to slidably displace the cable within the cable housing under cable adjustment.
Readily releasable locking device for a desk
Disclosed is a readily releasable locking device for guarding a movement of an angularly movable flat board relative to an elongated shell. The readily releasable locking device includes a latch member operable to retain or release a guided rod that can be retained at various positions to permit the flat board to be tilted at different angles. Also disclosed is a readily releasable locking device for guarding against a movement of the elongated shell that is linearly movable relative to a non-movable tubular core member.

Throttle adjustment device for brush cutter
According to one embodiment, a throttle adjustment device, for a brush cutter in which an engine is mounted at one end of a handle pipe and in which a throttle adjustment wire extends from a throttle of the engine, include: a throttle lever having an operation portion to be operated by the user; a sub lever having a holding portion to be connected with an extending end of the throttle adjustment wire; a case to be fixed to the handle pipe, the throttle lever and the sub lever being rotatably mounted in the case; and a connecting member configured to bring the throttle lever and the sub lever into: an interlocked state where the throttle is adjustable in accordance with an operation amount of the throttle lever; or an un-interlocked state where the throttle is not adjustable regardless of the operation amount of the throttle lever.
