Quick coupling for the detachable connection of two pipes through which a pressurized fluid flows

The invention relates to a quick coupling for the detachable connection of two pipes through which a pressurized fluid flows, the quick coupling made up of a male element and a female element. The male element includes a male cylindrical body defining a cavity, a valve movable axially within the cavity, and a first sealing gasket. The female element includes a female cylindrical body defining a cavity, a slide valve movable axially within the cavity, a second sealing gasket, and a peripheral groove that houses either the first or second sealing gasket. A proximal or distal edge of the peripheral groove extends between two planes that are perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the male or female element, respectively between a proximal plane and a distal plane, which are offset relative to one another along the longitudinal axis.

FEMALE FLUID CONNECTION ELEMENT, CONNECTION SUBASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION COMPRISING SUCH A FEMALE ELEMENT

A coupler (R) female element (4) able to be coupled with a male element (2) for the removable fluid junction of two pipes. The female element body (20) centered on a first longitudinal central axis (X20) with an inner volume (V20) for receiving the male element. Additionally, the female element has a central plunger (44) longitudinally secured to the body and positioned within the inner volume, with a slide valve (46) movable within the inner volume around the central plunger between a forward closing position, in which the slide valve (46) cooperates tightly with the body (20) and the central plunger (44), and a withdrawn open position.

Coupling element for a coupling for connecting pressure medium lines

The invention relates to a coupling element (1) for a coupling for connection of pressure medium lines, including a housing (2), a flow channel (5) for a pressure medium, a valve tappet (6), a pressure sleeve (7), and an inner body (8), wherein the valve tappet (6) has a valve tappet head (10), wherein the pressure sleeve (7) surrounds the valve tappet (6), wherein the pressure sleeve (7) is held such that it can move along the coupling axis A between a closed position and an open position, wherein the pressure sleeve (7) is in contact with the valve tappet head (10) in the closed position thereof, whereby a force parallel to the coupling axis A acts upon the valve tappet head (10) from the pressure sleeve (7). The safety for users and the operating characteristics are improved, in that the inner body (8) and/or the pressure sleeve (7) have means with which the force from the pressure sleeve (7) acting on the valve tappet head (10) can be limited.

Fluid system coupling with internal valves

A fluid system coupling includes an adaptor, a coupler, and an actuation mechanism. The adaptor has an adaptor poppet that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The adaptor poppet has a poppet face that is substantially planar and devoid of any recesses. The coupler has a coupler poppet that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The coupler poppet has a poppet face that is substantially planar and avoid of any recesses. The actuation mechanism selectively moves the poppets from the closed positions to the open positions.

QUICK COUPLING FOR THE DETACHABLE CONNECTION OF TWO PIPES THROUGH WHICH A PRESSURIZED FLUID FLOWS

The invention relates to a quick coupling (R) for the detachable connection of two pipes (C1, C2) through which a pressurized fluid flows, made up of a male element (100) and a female element (200).

CORPOREAL DRAINAGE SYSTEM

A catheter connector assembly which may be included with a corporeal drainage system, and a method of draining fluid from a bodily cavity. The catheter connector assembly may include a catheter connector and a drainage line connector. The catheter connector may include a connector body with a coupling feature, a deformable sealing element, and a retaining member. The drainage line connector may include a drainage line body first and second hinge clips, and an actuator. The actuator is designed to deform the deformable sealing element when the drainage line connector is coupled to the catheter connector.

Fluid supply valve

Some examples include a valve for a printing fluid supply system, the valve including a static portion and a dynamic portion. The static portion includes a stem extending along a longitudinal axis. The stem includes a head, a tail, and a shaft extending between the head and the tail. The dynamic portion is disposed around the stem. The dynamic portion is longitudinally movable along the stem between a closed position and an opened position. The dynamic portion includes a neck and a body extending longitudinally from the neck, the neck to seal around the head in the closed position and fluidly open in the opened position, the body to slidably fluidly seal against a housing between opened and closed positions. A liquid ink pathway and an air pathway are formed between the static portion and the dynamic portion.

Systems and methods are described relating a connector assembly having a mating end and a non-mating end, the mating end configured to engage a mating end of another connector assembly. The connector assembly may include a housing, a central member disposed within the housing, and a sleeve disposed between the central member and the housing. The sleeve may be slidably coupled to the housing and may be slidable along an axial direction relative to the central member. The sleeve, when slidably moved to an open position, may form a flow channel defined by at least (1) a sloped surface on the sleeve and (2) a sloped surface on the central member. The sleeve, when slidably moved to a closed position, may close the flow channel.
