Retrofit Self-Annunciating Sprinkler
A water-powered residential fire suppression and alarm system is provided. The system comprises a sprinkler head, a water-powered alarm, a fire-resistant transfer line assembly, and a housing assembly. The sprinkler activates upon excessive heat. The transfer line assembly provides an unclosable channel connecting an existing residential water fixture with the sprinkler head. The transfer line assembly includes a fire-resistant transfer line connected to a multi-port coupling which connects to the existing water fixture. The transfer line assembly also provides water to the alarm. The housing assembly has a housing with a vertical span of about 3-12 inches. The sprinkler head and alarm are mounted to the housing assembly and the transfer line assembly is connected to the housing assembly. When water is provided to the coupling and the sprinkler head activates, water flows through the transfer line, activating the alarm.
AUTOMATICALLY DEPLOYED FIRE SUPRESSION SPRINKLER
In one aspect, a fire suppression sprinkler assembly (10) is provided. The assembly includes a housing (20), and a sprinkler body (22) disposed at least partially within the housing and configured to supply a fluid to an area. The sprinkler body is movable between a first position where the sprinkler body is concealed within the housing and a second position where the sprinkler body extends from the housing to supply the fluid to the area heat responsive element (28) operatively associated with the sprinkler body and configured to facilitate preventing deployment of the sprinkler body from the first position to the second position until the heat responsive element senses a predetermined temperature.

SPRINKLER HEAD PROTECTIVE CASE DEVICE AND SYSTEM
Various sprinkler head protective case devices are disclosed. These devices provide substantial physical protection to sprinkler heads from accidental damage and/or activation thereof during temporary periods of construction and maintenance. The devices include fire and heat resistant shells that selectively close to surround the sprinkler head and open to permit removal therefrom. Cushioning pads are provided for more stable assemblies, and the shells can be locked into place so that the protective case devices do not accidentally become dislodged.
Dry sprinkler assembly
A dry sprinkler assembly for fire suppression uses a tube within a pipe element to maintain a spring loaded valve in a closed position at the end of the pipe element connected to a piping network. The tube is held against the biasing force of the valve's spring by a plug acted on by the temperature sensitive trigger of the sprinkler mounted on the opposite end of the pipe element.

Fire sprinkler with integrated shut off valve
The sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve is configured for use in a fire sprinkler system and a water source. The heat generated by a fire automatically actuates the sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve. The sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve further comprises a manually operated valve. The manually operated valve closes the sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve in cases inappropriate actuation. The sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve comprises a deflector, a heat sensitive release mechanism, a wedge seal, a valve block, and a threaded connection. The threaded connection attaches the sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve to the water source. The heat sensitive release mechanism and the wedge seal actuate the valve. The deflector directs the water released by the sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve. The valve block forms the manually operated valve of the sprinkler head with integrated shut-off valve.
SPRINKLER BULB
A sprinkler bulb 100 for a fire suppression system and a method of activating the sprinkler bulb 100. The sprinkler bulb includes a sealed frangible housing 110; a circuit device 120 within the housing 110, wherein the circuit device 120 comprises an ultraviolet light source 125; and a photosensitive fluid 130 within the housing that in use undergoes a chemical reaction when exposed to ultraviolet light from the light source 125.
