Muscle trainer and method for the production thereof
Described herein is a muscle trainer including a first and a second curved, elongate spring element, the two spring elements being arranged with their concave sides facing each other, having joint elements at their respective end areas and being connected to each other at their two end areas via joints formed from the joint elements. Also described herein is a method for producing such a muscle trainer.
Intelligent Exercise or Therapy Apparatus and Method
An intelligent exercise or therapy device one or more handles. The one or more handles include one or more accelerometers, one or more gyroscopes or directional sensors, one or more magnetometers, to capture multi-axis angular measurements, the one or more accelerometers to capture velocity or acceleration measurements; one or more pressure sensors or strain gauges to capture grip strength measurements; and one or more wireless communication transceivers to transmit the captured multi-axis measurements, the captured grip strength measurements and the captured velocity or acceleration measurements to a computing device; and one or more connectors, the one or more connectors to connect the one or more handles to an end of an exercise band or an end of a barbell.
Motion-Based Interface System
A motion-based interface system having a sensor to register physical activity of a user via a movable mechanical member to perform human input events to a computer system through the legs or lower body of a person. The invention allows a person sitting to exercise and enter computer commands at the same time.
Exercise Device
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided through which in some implementations a multi member device with gage varying bands in a spaced arrangement that is symmetrical left to right and top to bottom.
Weighted replica firearm
A weighted replica firearm is operable to be handled by a user for simulated firearm training. The firearm includes a firearm receiver, a barrel weight support, and barrel weights. The barrel weights are selectively mounted to the barrel weight support. Each barrel weight includes a corresponding weight connection interface removably interconnecting with a support connection interface of the barrel weight support when the barrel weight is mounted to the barrel weight support.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
METHOD FOR REDUCING TENSION IN MUSCLES OF THE HUMAN BODY BY NEUROHEMATOLOGIC DIVERSION
A method for relaxing muscles and reducing tension in a human body based on neurohematologic diversion (NHD) which intends to reverse the flows of the neurological and vascular systems to effect changes in the musculoskeletal system. Neurological diversion occurs by interrupting the central nervous system's (CNS) autonomic sympathetic neurological flow to muscles of the axial spine and extremities. Vascular diversion occurs as the participant performs contractions using a most minimal force level in axial or peripheral muscle groups, which are neurologically linked to those in the hands and face to promote the shunting of blood to said muscle groups. The method is termed as Low Motion Method (LMM) that enables the participant to use inherent physiological processes to relax muscles and remove muscular tension in the human body.
Multi-functional exercise apparatus
A durable and impact-resistant exercise apparatus that is portable, modular, stackable, and weight-adjustable to allow a user to perform a variety of isolated lower body, core, and upper body resistance training exercises as well as full-body strength training exercises to improve a fitness of the user. The exercise apparatus is configured both as a platform for supporting the user during a first plurality of exercises as well as a weighted body for being lifted or moved by the user during a second plurality of exercises.
COLLAPSIBLE HIP THRUST EXERCISE APPARATUS
A collapsible, user-friendly weighted hip thrust exercise apparatus. A base frame encloses an exercise space, with an upper body support attached to one end of the frame. The frame may be adjustable in length and/or width in order to accommodate different users. The upper body support may be configured to provide an elevated back rest for the user. The upper body support height may be adjustable to accommodate different users. A user may sit down in the exercise space enclosed by the frame with the user's upper-back and arms resting on top of the upper body support, placing his or her feet on top of the frame on the other width side. The apparatus may further feature a central resistance band positioned at the user's hip line, coupled to side handles or multiple attachment points, and detent pins to removably lock the apparatus in place for use.
LOWER BODY EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a resilient compression member configured to resist a compressive force from a user, and a resilient tension member configured to couple to opposing sides of the compression member. The resilient tension member is also configured to form a first portion of a loop around the compression member and the user, and resist a tensile force from the user. The exercise device also includes an extension member configured to connect with opposing ends of the tension member to form a second portion of the loop around the compression member and the user.
