Exercise apparatus and system for stationary users
Exercise equipment, particularly a linear movable structure and associated selectable elastic resistance bands with or without guide track members are designed to allow low-impact exercises for one or two persons at the same time while permitting either or both participants to remain stationary when utilizing the equipment.
Dip apparatus, methods, and systems
An exercise system may include a dip apparatus having gripping bars for a user to grip and one or more resistance bands releasably attachable to the dip apparatus below the gripping bars to assist the user when performing a dip exercise by providing an upward force counteracting at least a portion of the user's weight. To this end, the dip apparatus may include support bars disposed below the gripping bars, where the support bars are structurally configured to engage with one or more resistance bands. More particularly, each of the support bars may include couplers that have a portion structurally configured to receive a resistance band, which may be formed as a continuous loop.
RESISTANCE-BASED EXERCISE DEVICE
A resistance-based exercise device comprised a bar with a first engagement plate fixed to its first distal end and a second engagement plate fixed to its second distal end. The first and the second engagement plates have one or more openings for detachably engaging one or more resistance bands of varying resistance level by a coupler.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
Mobility Device
A mobility device for use in physical therapy comprising a base; a vertically adjustable tension post attached to the base; a vertically adjustable center post attached to the base posterior the tension post; means for adjusting the angular orientation of a stirrup to allow for a stirrup to pivot inwardly and outwardly and upwardly and downwardly, and rotate circularly about a vertical axis corresponding to the center post, such means attached to the center post; a stirrup attached to the angular orientation adjustment means; one or more stirrup straps; a lateral slide track attached to the tension post; a laterally displaceable lateral slide bracket positioned within the lateral slide track; means for securedly engaging the lateral slide bracket to the lateral slide track; a tension strap for securing a leg of the foot secured in the stirrup; and means for adjusting the tension strap tension of the tension strap.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus comprises a platform having a front roller, a rear roller and an endless belt mounted around the front roller and the rear roller for allowing a user to perform a first exercise type of a relatively lower resistance or a second exercise type of a relatively higher resistance. A front frame is mounted at a front side of the platform and has at least one holding portion adapted to be grasped by the user. A first control interface controls the first exercise type. The first exercise type is selected from a group consisting of walking, jogging, and running. A second control interface that controls the second exercise type. The second exercise type includes the user pushing the endless belt backwards against resistance while grasping the holding portion.
Device and method for strengthening and rehabilitating the ankle joint
The present invention comprises a device for strengthening, improving range of motion and/or improving flexibility in ankle joints and/or rehabilitating injured ankle joints. The device comprises a structure or frame, at least one resistance mechanism connected to the structure or frame and a support platform connected to the at least one resistance mechanism for supporting a patient's foot. Rotating, flexing, inverting and/or everting the patient's foot connected to the ankle of interest, which results in pressure applied to the support platform by the patient's foot, increases and/or decreases tension in the at least one resistance mechanism. A variety of stretches and/or strengthening and/or rehabilitating exercises may be performed with the device. The support platform is suspended within the frame on the at least one resistance mechanism and, as a result, the support platform may be rotated, flexed, inverted and/or everted in an infinite number of directions.
Intelligent fitness set and anti-cheating method thereof
An intelligent fitness set and anti-cheating method thereof is disclosed. The intelligent fitness set includes a support, a base, a plurality of handheld fitness equipments and two handles, wherein a processor, a movement posture sensor and a touch sensor are provided in each handle, and the movement posture sensor and the touch sensor are connected respectively with the processor. One end of each handle is closed, while a bayonet is provided in the other end of the handle and the switchable hot-pluggable bayonet is configured to connect respectively to the plurality of handheld fitness equipments. In the present disclosure, one set of action training of a plurality of handheld fitness equipments is performed through the same set of handles, so that a user can complete movement of one time only by strictly complying with active standards during movement.
FOREARM EXERCISE GRIP DEVICE
A forearm exercise grip device that implements a frame with a gripping portion, bearings, and a band is used to exercise at least a user's forearm muscles. A connecting portion extends from opposing ends of the gripping portion and includes an arcuate bend that extends to bearings on each side of the connecting portion. An elastic band with a loop wraps around each respective bearing. A user places the gripping portion of the frame in his hand, and then extends his fingers to, depending on size of hand and strength, one or both of a proximal or distal section of the band. The user squeezes the band directionally toward the gripping portion, which thereby exercises the user's forearm and hand muscles.
PORTABLE AND FOLDABLE GLUTEUS MAXIMUS BRIDGING AND HIP THRUSTING EXERCISE APPARATUS
An apparatus that satisfies the need for a portable and foldable exercise equipment to perform glute bridge, hip thrust and other resistance band exercises without the need for additional equipment. The apparatus includes opposing panels hingedly connected, and accommodations to affix resistance bands to the panels. A cross member is preferably hingedly connected to one panel and extends through an opening and engages the other panel. A resistance band may include an adjustable belt so that a user may securely fasten himself or herself between the opposing panels and the resistance band to perform the glute bridge, hip thrust or other exercises.
