Coil spring anchor ring retainer device
A spring ring retainer device is described for retaining a spring ring on a spring anchor in an exercise apparatus such as a Pilates chair. The retainer device eliminates metal to metal contact between the spring ring and the anchor to minimize wear and also provide tactile feedback to a user of proper spring position on the anchor. The device is preferably an elongated unitary body having a central semi-cylindrical portion having a first radius, a first curved end portion, and a semi-cylindrical connector portion joining the first curved end portion to one end of the central semi-cylindrical portion, a second curved end portion and a second semi-cylindrical connector portion joining the second curved end portion with the central semi-cylindrical portion.
Gloves for adjusting and controlling resistance to hand movement, and related methods thereof
A glove having a top surface and a bottom surface is described herein. The top surface and the bottom surface each have an inner surface and an outer surface. The glove includes a plurality of resistance bands, which can be configured to be removably attached to the glove. The resistance bands can be removably attached at connection points on the outer surface of the glove. The glove can also include at least one adjustable resistance mechanism connected to the glove. The adjustable resistance mechanism is configured to adjust degrees of resistance to motion via the resistance bands.
TWISTING EXERCISER
A twisting exerciser includes a base with a first shaft, a second shaft and a stop member respectively connected thereto. A first swingable unit and a second swingable unit are respectively and pviotably connected to the first and second shafts. The first swingable unit has a pad and first fan-shaped gear. The second swingable unit has a handle assembly and a second fan-shaped gear which is engaged with the first fan-shaped gear. The user holds the handle assembly, and the upper body and the lower body swing in opposite direction by the engagement between the first and second fan-shaped gears. The stop member limits the angle that the first fan-shape gears swings. The user may sits in the pad or stands on the pad to operate the twisting exerciser. The twisting exerciser is simple and safe.
System, method and apparatus for rehabilitation and exercise
A rehabilitation and exercise system can include a base. A static device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide isometric exercise for a user by receiving static force from the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis or muscle hypertrophy for the user. In addition, a dynamic device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide a dynamic exercise for the user by being moved by the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis and muscle hypertrophy for the user.
EXERCISING DEVICE
An exercise device may include: a first element having a longitudinal center axis; a second element having a first end movably connected to the first element via a connection device; and a second, free, end; and a pre-tensioned force resistance device connected to the first or second elements. The exercising device may be configured to be in an initial state, in which the second end is provided with a first distance (Di) from the longitudinal center axis. The exercising device may be configured to be in a compressed state, in which the second end is provided with a second distance (Dc) from the longitudinal center axis, where the second distance (Dc) is shorter than the first distance (Di). The pre-tensioned force resistance device may be configured to force the second end of the second element towards the initial state.
Dorsiflex and plantarflex exercise machine
A therapeutic rehabilitation device utilizing two parallel independent foot pedals on one side of the device, for isolated ankle exercises, and a larger flat board on the other side of the device, large enough for two feet to rest on, for use in active assistance exercises. To use the device for active assistance rehabilitation, the user places the device on the ground with the two pedals resting on the ground. To use the device for active isolated exercise, the user flips the device over, with the flat board facing the ground, and the two pedals facing upward.
HAND GRIP
Provided is a hand grip including a first and second operating arms capable of moving toward and away from each other, a first and second connection arms disposed between the first and second operating arms to be inclined, of which both ends rotatably connected to the first and second operating arms, a spring member installed to provide an elastic force in a direction interfering with approach of the first and second operating arms, a spring fixing part formed to extend upward from the first operating arm and to which one end of the spring member is fixed, a spring connection part formed to extend from an upper end of the first connection arm and to which the other end of the spring member is fixed, and a strength adjusting part formed in the spring connection part and configured to allow the other end of the spring member to move.
EXERCISE MACHINE EMPLOYING ONE OR MORE FLEXIBLE EXERCISE BANDS
An exercise machine employing one or more flexible tension bands includes a pair of exercise arms rotatably mounted on frame members and being configured to be engaged by opposed hands of an individual. Vertically spaced apart connectors are located, respectively, on the exercise arms and on frame members vertically above or below the rotatable mount of the exercise arms. At least one elongate flexible tension band configured to be connected at vertically spaced apart locations to vertically spaced connectors, whereby rotation of the exercise arms in one of the upward or downward directions stretches the one or more flexible tension bands to create a tension force opposing the upward or downward direction of rotation of the exercise arms.
The exercise arms can include rotatably connected inner and outer sections. In addition, the machine can include spaced-apart rotatable side arms; each preferably including telescopic sections including a connector adjacent an outer end thereof for supporting or retaining a flexible tension band engaged directly by an individual or connected to exercise arms of the machine.
