Hand Grip Strengthener
A hand grip strengthener includes a first operation arm, a second operation arm, a strength adjustment assembly including a spring element, a spring driving element, and an adjustment control element, wherein the spring element is arranged to generate a resistance force to the relative movement between the first operation arm and the second operation arm, wherein when the adjustment control element is operated by the user, the spring driving element is driven to move, so as to drive the spring element to move to adjust the resistance force. The hand grip strengthener further includes a grip force measurement assembly which is coupled to one of the first operation arm and the second operation arm to measure a grip force of a user.
Exercise machine employing one or more flexible exercise bands
An exercise machine includes at least one tension band and a pair of rotatable exercise arms to be engaged by opposed hands of an individual. Vertically spaced apart connectors are located, respectively, on the exercise arms and on frame members vertically above and below the exercise arms. A flexible tension band connectable to vertically spaced connectors, whereby rotation of the exercise arms in upward or downward directions stretches the flexible tension band to create a tension force opposing the upward or downward rotation of the exercise arms. The machine includes spaced-apart rotatable side arms; each preferably including telescopic sections. A connector adjacent outer ends of each side arm includes a connector adjacent an outer end for retaining a flexible tension band engaged directly by an individual or connected to the exercise arms.
Bilateral retractable band/cord device with handles
A bilateral retractable band/cord device with handles on both ends. Each handle element attaches to a housing member internally consisting of a spring biased retractable spool axel that protracts outwardly or retracts inwardly a shared band/cord element. A locking mechanism on the outside of each housing member locks the shared band/cord element at any length between the handle elements. When the band/cord element is elastic, this embodiment is a self-contained, bilateral, hand-held, multidimensional exercise tool that is adjustable to variable lengths while maintaining the handle elements for comfort, stability, and portability. The ability to change the materials, sizes, shapes, and designs of each element of this device makes it versatile for a plethora of uses, e.g. an exercise device, a carry-assist device and a belt, with the advantages of stability, comfort, compactness, ease of use, and portability.
Upper extremity rehabilitation system
An upper extremity rehabilitation system comprising a base with one or more pockets, a first pole and a second pole, each pole having a grip and a joint. The joint is removably attached to the pockets on the base to secure the pole from sliding. The base can have a top and a bottom with a thickness that is half or full circle. The system may also include a band spanning between the first pole and the second pole and is coupled to the poles with at least one clip. The system also includes a method of applying the system by securing the poles at a predetermined distance, choosing a band with user specified resistance, coupling the band between the poles with a clip, and instructing a user to place their hands on the grips and move the poles away from each other or in a circular motion.
Method and apparatus for an exercise machine
A therapeutic exercise machine includes a platform having foldable legs; vertical support brackets affixed to the platform; a resistance bar assembly having a resistance bar affixed to rotation retaining plates via pivot arms; mechanical resistance devices; spring support arms; a back brace; and a knee bolster. The knee bolster is affixed to the platform. The rotation retaining plates are rotatably attached to distal ends of the vertical support brackets; First ends of the first and second mechanical resistance devices are attached to the spring support arms, and second ends of the mechanical resistance devices are attached to the rotation retaining plates. The mechanical resistance devices are arranged to resist rotation of the horizontal resistance bar about an axis of rotation defined by the distal ends of the vertical support brackets.
Multifunctional hand grip exerciser
A multifunctional hand grip exerciser is provided, including a main body, a lever, and a finger pressing assembly. The main body includes a handle portion, an elastic assembly is disposed in the main body, mounting cavities are defined on the handle portion, and outer ends of the mounting cavities respectively penetrate through a surface of the handle portion. The lever is rotatably connected to the main body, a driving end of the lever is connected to the elastic assembly, and the elastic assembly is configured to provide resistance for the lever to rotate. The finger pressing assembly includes pressing heads for pressing, the pressing heads are disposed corresponding to the mounting cavities, the pressing heads are respectively and slidably disposed in the mounting cavities, and free ends of the pressing heads are capable of respectively extending out of or retracting into the mounting cavities.
