PLATE LOADED ABDUCTION-ADDUCTION PRESS BAR
An abduction-adduction exercise device is provided. The device may have a handle having a first handle end and a second handle end and an axial handle length. The device also includes at least one hand grip movably attached to the handle and capable of axial translation along the axial handle length of the handle. The hand grip is coupled to at least one resistance means providing elastic resistance to axial translation of the hand grip along the axial handle length of the handle.
ADJUSTABLE TRANSVERSE RESISTANCE EXERCISE MACHINE
An adjustably-tensioned, transverse-suspended elastic element exercise device is disclosed. The transverse element is suspended between frame elements sized so as to enable full range of motion exercises. The tension and height of the elastic member can be adjusted so as to accommodate varying exercise levels and positions. The assembly may include handgrips and attachments to augment workouts. Electronic adjustability, metrics, programmability and Internet connectivity enhance the user experience. A method of using the device is also disclosed.
Rowing exercise device and method of using same
A rowing exercise device comprises a support structure; a movable user support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a movable foot support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a handle; and a rowing assembly operatively associated with the handle and at least the movable foot support to cause at least the movable foot support to move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle so that both a user s body and one or both feet move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle.
Respiratory rehabilitation apparatus
A respiratory rehabilitation apparatus includes a housing, an adjustment rod provided in the housing to change a pressure load generated during respiration, a pair of stoppers for selectively adjusting respiration pressure, a pair of pressurization-movement parts configured to be pressurized and moved inwards in a longitudinal direction of the housing by respiration pressure during respiration, a pair of elastic members disposed between the pressurization-movement parts and the stoppers, and a pair of diaphragms disposed so as to be in close contact with outer sides in a longitudinal direction of the pressurization-movement parts.
Methods and apparatuses for oropharyngeal isometrics and dynamics
Apparatuses and methods for an oropharyngeal exercise device. The oropharyngeal exercise device has interchangeable parts comprising complete mouthpieces, complete springs, a housing, a progress gauge, and a stopper. The oropharyngeal exercise device and its interchangeable parts are organized and stored in a standardized kit. The kit allows a patient to take the exercise device on the go and makes home-health treatment of oropharyngeal disorders easier and more accessible. Patients can customize the exercise type and resistance. A variety of mouthpieces also allows patients to perform not only isometric exercises, but also perform dynamic exercises to increase flexibility and range of motion.
Exercise Machine Adjustable Resistance System And Method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine generally includes a carriage movably positioned with respect to the at least one rail, a plurality of springs selectively connectable to the carriage to provide a resistance level to the carriage, a plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices adapted to latch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the latch state and unlatch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the unlatch state and a control unit in communication with the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to selectively control the state of each of the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to be within the latch state or the unlatch state.
Exercise machine carriage handle system
An exercise machine carriage handle system for providing handles for an exerciser to grasp with their hands thereby expanding the type of exercises that may be performed. The exercise machine carriage handle system generally includes a frame having a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, a bias member connected between the frame and the carriage, a first handle connected to the carriage near the first side, and a second handle connected to the carriage near the second side. The first handle and second handle are adapted for grasping with a first hand and a second hand respectively of a user during the performance of an exercise on the exercise machine.
System and Method of Using Two Exercise Machines
A system and method of using two exercise machines for performing a wide range of exercise movements that utilize both of the exercise machines in concert. The system and method of using two exercise machines generally includes first exercise machine and a second exercise machine which are used in concert to perform a wide range of exercise movements. The first exercise machine may include a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, and an end platform. The second exercise machine may include its own separate track, a carriage movably connected to the track, and an end platform. The exercise machines may be positioned side-to-side in parallel orientation such that an exerciser may perform various exercise moves by positioning different limbs on the respective carriages, end platforms, and/or tracks of the exercise machines, in addition to the surface underlying the exercise machines.
Corner support bar (CSB) in a trampoline
Embodiments of the invention provide a plurality of support bars that may be fitted to the corner of a trampoline frame to provide increased stiffness for the trampoline frame. The support bars may be placed over or in the vicinity of the trampoline's legs to create a zone of increased stiffness. The support bars may also serve as an entry point to the trampoline such that the trampoline user need not stand on the trampoline's suspension system (e.g., helical springs) in order to enter the trampoline. The user may be protected from the support bars by the use of an edge pad filled with an energy absorbing material.
Foot exercise apparatus
The device is a foot power apparatus which provides a means for therapeutically strengthening the foot using an expansion spring mounted pedal suspended within a support frame assembly. One embodiment of the apparatus comprises which base, which generally resembles the sole of a shoe, and a support frame assembly which is attached at the front end and along the sides of said base. Suspended above the base within the frame assembly by a pair of opposing springs is a pedal transversely positioned to the base. With the user's foot positioned on the base, the front of the foot applies downward pressure to expand the springs while the heel of the foot remains stationary. Removable and interchangeable expansion springs provide customized and more accurate biomechanical motion for the needs of the particular patient. This system allows for the proper flexion biomechanics on an individual basis because of its ability to shorten the foot during the flexion process.
