Weight training equipment
A weight training platform designed to have the ability to use free weights and resistance bands simultaneously, which can increase muscle strength and endurance with repetitive movements and has the advantage of being inexpensive, space conscious, and portable.
Exercise Machine Rail System
An exercise machine rail system for improved exerciser mounting and dismounting, improved functional ergonomics, and reduced risk of exerciser injury when using an exercise machine. The exercise machine rail system generally includes either two rails in close relationship which are linked together via connectors or a singular rail. Bias members are disclosed as either extending along either outer side of the rails, internally to the rail, or underneath the rail. Due to the narrow nature of the rails used by the present invention, an exerciser is able to mount and dismount the exercise machine easily and efficiently.
Exercise machine storage system
An exercise machine storage system for safely storing various objects of an exerciser while the exerciser is performing exercise moves on an exercise machine. The exercise machine storage system generally includes an exercise machine including at least one rail, a carriage, and a pair of end platforms positioned at or near the respective ends of the exercise machine. The carriage is movable along a portion of the at least one rail. A pair of storage receptacles is connected to the exercise machine at or near its respective ends, such as underneath the end platforms. An exerciser may safely secure various objects within one or both of the storage receptacles while performing various exercise moves, with the objects being close enough to the exerciser such that the exerciser may hear any sounds, see any illumination, and/or feel any vibrations emitted by such objects while exercising.
Exercise machine monitoring and instruction system
An exercise machine monitoring and instruction system for the movement of an element of an exercise machine by an exerciser and providing automated feedback to the exerciser to help improve the exercise in real-time. The exercise machine monitoring and instruction system generally includes an exercise machine having a movable element that moves between a first position and a second position in a reciprocating manner, a sensor that detects a real-time position of the movable element, a processor in communication with the sensor to receive the real-time position data from the sensor related to a position of the movable element and a feedback device in communication with the processor that provides real-time instructions to the exerciser on how to adjust their workout to achieve a desired result.
Trampoline
The invention provides a trampoline comprising a peripheral frame, a trampoline mat attached to said peripheral frame via a series of spring elements, and a protective mat for covering said spring elements, wherein said trampoline comprises a spacer attached to said peripheral frame above said series of spring elements and below said protective mat for holding said protective mat a spacer height above said spring elements, and an air permeable web connecting said protective mat and said trampoline mat.
Exercise machine with multiple platforms
An exercise machine with multiple platforms for an exerciser to perform a variety of exercises generally includes an elongated frame structure supporting stationary first and second end platforms, a longitudinal rail extending between the end platforms and having an upper surface comprising a central platform, and a slideable carriage platform that reciprocates on the rail over the central platform and between the end platforms. The platforms provide multiple support surfaces at multiple elevations on which exercisers can position parts of their bodies during exercise. The platforms may be provided with positioning indices and provide continuous support surfaces over substantially the entire length of the exercise machine. The central platform may be provided with finger grips for exercisers to grasp. One or more mounting platforms may be provided to facilitate mounting and dismounting of the exercise machine.
Jump rope with spring-supported collet handle
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a jump rope handle assembly is described. The jump rope handle assembly includes a handle having a longitudinal axis. A shaft assembly is disposed within the handle. The shaft assembly is to receive a jump rope section and is to rotate and slide within the handle. The shaft assembly includes a collet to retain the jump rope section. The jump rope handle assembly also includes a spring to compress between the shaft assembly and an interior impact surface of the handle.
Adjustable exercise machine
An adjustable exercise machine for performing resistance exercises comprises a base and an upper frame including front and back end stationary exercise platforms, and a movable exercise platform that reciprocates between the stationary platforms. A plurality of biasing members is selectable by an exerciser via selector knobs to generate a bias force against the movable platform. A plurality of pivotable lift supports are connected between the base and the upper frame. Front and back actuators are connected between the base and the lift supports by lifting yokes to selectively raise and lower the front and back ends of the machine. The movable platform may be connected to move along the exercise machine by trolley wheel assemblies. A plurality of travel limit decelerators mounted on the rails engage and rapidly decelerates the movable platform as it reaches its limits of travel on the rails.
Pilates reformer exercise machine
A device for use with an exerciser device, such as a reformer, which permits adjustment of a resistance system, even when connected to a resistance source, by selectively relieving a resistance force imparted on the resistance adjustment system when changing a resistance and automatically reengaging the resistance force when exercising. A strain relief is coupled to a linkage between the resistance source and a resistance adjuster. When engaged, the strain relief selectively reduces the resistance force transmitted through the linkage to the resistance adjuster to permit movement of the resistance adjuster relative to a purchase. When disengaged the strain relief permits transmission of the resistance force through the linkage to the resistance adjuster.
Systems and methods of treating proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders
The systems, methods, apparatuses, and articles disclosed herein provide a new approach to treatment symptoms, such as proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders, which may be caused by certain types of human ailments. According to the present disclosure, a wearable article may include one or more limb sections and a resilient member may be provided along a length of each of the one or more limb sections and configured to generate a resistance force. Adjustments to the resistance force provided by the resilient member(s) may be adjusted using cord locks. As a user wearing the wearable article moves, the resistance force is applied to the user's limbs. Strain gauges may be provided to measure the resistance force(s), which enables verification that the resilient members are sized and configured to provide an appropriate amount of resistance force to a user and may improve programs and regimens designed to treat such ailments.
