Multiple point door locking system
10138660 · 2018-11-27 · ·

A door lock system comprising a first rotary configured to control extension and retraction of the deadbolt via a primary cam mechanism; a second rotary control configured to control extension and retraction of the latch; and a link configured to retract the deadbolt in response to operation of the second rotary control when the latch is retracted by the second rotary control. The link is configured to move along a linear path normal to the movement of the deadbolt and the door latch and to contact the primary cam mechanism upon the link movement to affect deadbolt retraction and extension. A lever may be used to retract the latch in response to rotation of the first rotary control in a first rotational direction when the deadbolt is retracted by the first rotary control.

Multi-point sliding door latch
10053897 · 2018-08-21 ·

A multi-point sliding door latch intended to fit within standard sized opening in the stile of a sliding door. Preferably the latch has at least two hooks oriented in opposite directions that slide in a generally linear manner between an unlatched and latched position in response to rotation of a pair of actuators located within the latch housing. Preferably, the latch includes reinforcement blocks defining cavities with a portion of the hooks extending into the cavities when the hooks are in the latched position.

LATCH MECHANISM FOR STORAGE BOX

An electronic assembly includes an electronic device and an external device. The electronic device includes a main body and a fixing base. The main body includes a first opening. The fixing base includes an upper cover, a cam, a first spring, a button, a second spring, a pedestal, a first retractable hook and a second retractable hook. The first retractable hook includes a first inclined protrusion structure. The second retractable hook includes a second inclined protrusion structure. The external device includes a bracket. The bracket includes a first insertion piece and a second insertion piece. The first insertion piece includes a seventh opening. The second insertion piece includes an eighth opening. The first insertion piece and the second insertion piece are penetrated through the first opening. The first inclined protrusion structure is inserted into the seventh opening. The second inclined protrusion structure is inserted into the eighth opening.

Animal-resistant latching system
09567775 · 2017-02-14 · ·

An animal-resistant latching system for inhibiting animals from accessing food and food containing refuse within containers. The device is composed of an access panel containing an opening to which is secured at least one latching members, a cam assembly, a cover, and a bracket. The latching members are positioned so as to inhibit access to the container when the member is in the latched position and allow access to the container when the member is in the unlatched position. The cam assembly communicates with the latching members so as to move the members between the latched and unlatched positions. The cover and bracket are dimensioned and positioned on the access panel in a predetermined manner so as allow human hands access to the cam assembly and unlatch the container while simultaneously inhibiting such access by animals.
