Friction-spreader grip assembly for resistance band exercise
A grip assembly has a core having a longitudinal axis and anchor interfaces on opposite ends, an exercise band with elastic properties, one end furled around the core, and the other, loose end extending away from the core, and a keeper strap having attachment interfaces at opposite ends compatible with the anchor interfaces of the core, the attachment interfaces engaged to the ancho interfaces of the core, the keeper strap spanning the length of the core, intimately contacting the furled exercise band. The keeper strap constrains the furled exercise band from unfurling.
TENSION LOOP FOR YOGA
The application provides a yoga tension ring for fitness use, including a tension ring body, the two sides of the yoga tension ring which are in contact with the human body will not curl due to the stretching during the fitness use of stride, buttock bridge, thigh, buttock, up and down squat, lateral movement, etc., and the side of the tension loop body in contact with the human body is detachably provided with an anti-curling device for preventing the curling of the two sides of the tension loop body due to stretching during movement.
Exercise device
An exercise device includes a footwear part, a brace part and at least one resistance band. The footwear part has a foot receiving portion configured to receive a front portion of a user's foot. The brace part is configured to be releasably attached to a knee area of the user. The at least one resistance band is configured to be releasably secured at opposite ends thereof to the footwear part and brace part, respectively. The exercise device can be used, among other things, for conditioning and strengthening, for aerobic exercises, and to help individuals maintain proper foot placement throughout an entire exercise and improve their form by helping them stay on their forefoot when performing an exercise dealing with brisk walking or running.
Multifunctional Leg Strengthening Device
This present invention relates to a multifunctional leg strengthening device for users to strengthen the lower extremities. The multifunctional leg strengthening device includes a resistance band that is removably attached to an exercise ball, such that the resistance band can be easily held by the user's hand while holding the exercise ball between the calves or thighs for performing leg strengthening exercises. The innovative multifunctional leg strengthening device may comprise a rigid or flexible resistance band. Also, the band may feature a pocket to accommodate the rigid stick or rod inside the pocket. The rigid stick design helps accommodate those with decreased lower body strength, thereby ensuring the muscles can be strengthened and rehabilitated.
Exercise bar for use with flexible resistance bands
An exercise-bar is provided for use with flexible resistance bands. The exercise-bar includes a rigid elongated bar; and a pair of rotating resistance band sheaves respectively installed at the opposing axial ends of the rigid bar. Each band sheave includes: a rotor secured for free rotation to an axial end of the rigid elongated bar; a band-collar carried on a band-support portion of the rotor and having an axial width to accommodate at least a width of a flexible resistance band thereabout; and a slotted cover shell carried on the rotor. The slotted cover shell includes an open axial end and a semi-circumferential cover portion covering a corresponding semi-circumferential portion of the band-collar and an axial slot extending into an axial end of the semi-circumferential cover portion and extending along at least the axial width of the band-collar.
Resistance bands apparatus
The present disclosure provides a resistance band apparatus which overcomes the problems traditionally associated with resistance training—time consuming resistance changes during the same exercise, time consuming adjustments between different exercises, and non-uniform resistance through the exercise motion depending on the height and limb length of the person—by incorporating multiple bands of different resistances into a single apparatus that can be engaged or disengaged from contributing towards the total resistance provided during an exercise, and which can be attached and detached at different points along the length of the apparatus to variations of fixed anchors to provide uniform tension and length for exercise motion. Both the resistances of the different bands and the points along the length of the apparatus at which they are attached are clearly indicated to facilitate easier recording of progress, as well as apparatus setup per exercise for the user.
CONNECTING STRAPS FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Connecting straps, for use for example in sports activities, include (a) a sleeve of webbing having a first end and a second end and having a loop at each end, each loop having a base and a free end, (b) disposed within the sleeve of webbing, a band of elastic material extending in a continuous loop, and (c) an attachment strap, adjacent each loop, configured to secure a portion of the band to the webbing at the base of each loop. In some cases, the band has a solid, polygonal cross-sectional shape.
PORTABLE RESISTANCE WORKOUT APPARATUSES AND SYSTEMS
The present disclosure contemplates portable strength-training apparatus, system, and method for conducting strength-training exercises using resistance bands. The apparatus of the present disclosure can serve as an anchor while conducting strength training exercises using resistance bands. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure can allow for safe strength-training exercises at varying resistance levels while allowing exercises at any angle. The apparatus, system, and method of the present disclosure may allow a user to strength train with resistance bands throughout entire body. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure may include a base platform with base attachment mechanisms that can be coupled with resistance bands which are in turn coupled with human interface mechanisms such as grips, wraps, or bars.
Combined friction resistance and elastic resistance exercise device
A frictional exercise device includes a shell body to be attached to a stationary object, for instance a door, a doorjamb or a floor, either directly or via a resistance band. A core cylinder in the shell body has an arcuate friction surface. A non-elastic strap winds partially around the core cylinder and hugs the friction surface. When said strap is pulled at one end, a frictional force between the friction surface and the strap opposes a movement of the strap across said friction surface. The magnitude of the frictional force is proportional to a resistive force applied at the opposite end. The arcuate friction surface is formed with a depression and adjoining elevations. A counterbrake projects towards the depression in the friction surface and deflects the strap towards the depression to define an undulating course of the strap along the friction surface and the counterbrake.
