Suspension trainer
A suspension trainer including a handle system comprised of a ring element and a removable strap element.
WEARABLE AND DETACHABLE EXERCISE ACCESSORY
A highly portable exercise device utilizing resistance bands is provided. The exercise device includes two ends, each end with a gripping component and latching mechanism. The latching mechanism comprising two magnets, wherein each magnet is secured to opposing ends of the device. A user can thereby hold one end of the exercise device in one hand and secure the other end of the device in either the other hand or against a surface. The user can move his or her body to create tension in the exercise device allowing the user to perform a plurality of different exercises by applying a force to intended muscles.
Rebounding apparatus with tensioned elastic cords
A trampoline with a frame has a rebounding mat that is tensioned to the frame with a plurality of flexible and cordlike linear elastic members. Preferably each cordlike elastic member is connected to the frame and the rebounding mat at one of two alternative positions to alter the tension. The alternative positions permit a tensioning process that extends the lifetime of elastic cords having a fabric sheath. This independent tension of each elastic member is via connector member that grips the rebounding mat but also grasps opposing the ends of the elastic members as well as central portion thereof so that two segment of the cord between each end and the central portion are preferably wrapped around the trampoline frame.
Resistance training device and method
A method for use with a physical training device is provided. The device including an elastic resistance strap having first and second handles. The method includes pulling at least one of the first and second handles to generate force on a target muscle group through resistance training. The method also includes pulling the at least one of the first and second handles to generate anaerobic and aerobic muscle activity within the target muscle group through cardiovascular interval training.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a users limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
DYNAMIC ROPE
A method of fabricating a rope that can serve as both a resistance band, jump or rolling rope includes the steps of: (a) braiding a plurality of elastic tubes into a braided rope which has two ends, (b) forming a loop at each of these ends, (c) securing each of these loops to this braided rope with a knot or a zip tie, (d) attaching a handle to this braided rope proximate each of these ends, (e) wherein these elastic tubes are: (i) fabricated from materials in the group including a latex rubber and a non-latex, synthetic rubber, (ii) selected from the group including those having differing diameters, wall thicknesses, and weights per linear foot, and (iii) selected to makeup a specific, braided rope having a specified elasticity and weight per linear foot.
Arm-Training Device
An arm-training device, and methods of making and using such an arm-training device, whereby the arm-training device includes a flexible elongate member having an elastic length disposed between opposing first and second ends; a first loop formed proximate the first end; a second loop formed proximate the second end; a first slide coupled to the first loop, the first slide movable along the length of the elongate member; and a second slide coupled to the second loop, the second slide movable along the length of the elongate member.
Non-Slip Fabric Resistance Band with Soft Cloth Handles
The present invention relates to improvements made to a resistance band fitness equipment. In particular to the multifunctional use of handles with this equipment. Most fabric resistance bands are connected in a full circle from one end of itself to the other, which limits the applicable function of this fitness equipment. Using latex resistance bands and tubes most often lead to elongation, loss of elasticity and breaking of equipment. Both styles of equipment consist of using carabiner clips, detachable plastic handles, detachable ankle straps, door stoppers etc. You have to take time to exchange parts, adding and subtracting multiple bands to adjust resistance and ultimately take dedicated time away from your workout.
It is therefore beneficial to have one multi-functional piece of fitness equipment that is improved to minimize extra parts while saving time and maximizing durability, resistance levels, and comfort.
The present invention is a resistance band comprising, woven fabric body (101) interlaced with latex strands (102), 2 rolled handles (105) consisting of a rolled insert (103) enclosed in a fabric strap (104); connected to the each open end of the resistance band body. This creates a durable multifunctional single piece of work out equipment.
Rope fastener, exercise equipment using rope fastener, frame for exercise aid, and exercise aid including frame for exercise aid
A rope fastener includes an insert inserted into a hollow in an end portion of a rope in an elastic tubular form to expand an outer diameter of the rope, a fixing part that is disposed behind the insert and that includes a boss protruding from a front surface thereof and having an insert recess into which an end of the rope is inserted, and a coupling part having a hollow into which the rope is inserted together with the insert and a rear end portion coupled to the boss of the fixing part.
Method for Applying Resistance Through Exercise Clothing
A method and apparatus for exercising a muscle in a given agonist and antagonist muscle pair of a user's human body by providing an elongated elastic band having a first length when no external forces are applied thereto, elongating the elastic band to a second length that is greater than the first length, securing the elastic band to a garment in a manner whereby when the elastic band is installed on the garment an axial force is imposed on the body of the user and the elastic band is disposed in aligned proximate relationship with at least one of the muscles in a given pair of muscles comprising an agonist muscle and antagonist muscle pair.
