Multi-use mounting bracket with extension and internal support rod for gym accessories
Described herein are examples of multi-use mounting brackets having an extension with an internal support rod configured to support gym accessories. A single multi-use mounting bracket fits gym rigging or gym racks of different sizes and hole configurations. This accomplished by including multiple pairs of holes that are sized and positioned to be compatible with different gym rigging configurations. The multi-use mounting brackets described herein are advantageously designed to resist both downward and upward forces.
Treadmill with continuous pull force on user
The present invention relates to a novel treadmill with elastic band aided system to drive the tread belt. The elastic band aided system includes at least one of the foot attachment, hand attachment, and waist attachment. This elastic band aided system can be used in manual treadmills and motorized treadmills.
Exercise device
An exercise device includes a strap. The strap includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The strap is configured to be secured to a lower leg of a user such that the first surface of the strap interfaces with the lower leg of the user. The exercise device further includes a ball including an outer surface configured to be held by the user, a first connector extending from the ball, a second connector extending from the second surface of the strap, and a tension member. The tension member includes a first coupling mechanism and a second coupling mechanism at opposite ends thereof and configured to be releasably coupled to the first connector and the second connector via the first and second coupling mechanisms.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ATTACHING A TRAMPOLINE MAT TO A TRAMPOLINE FRAME
A method for attaching a trampoline jumping mat to a trampoline frame using a clip comprising an aperture and the clip further comprising a hook for attaching the clip to the trampoline frame. The method also using an elastic connector comprising a first portion and a second portion, the first portion comprising a loop, and the method comprising the steps of: a. passing part of the elastic connector through the aperture in the clip; b. attaching the clip to the frame using the hook; c. passing the first portion of the elastic connector around both the hook and the frame; d. passing the second portion of the elastic connector through the loop of the first portion of the connector; and e. connecting the second portion of the elastic connector to the trampoline jumping mat.
A clip for attaching a trampoline jumping mat to a trampoline frame, the clip comprising: a hook for attaching the clip to the trampoline frame. The clip further comprising an aperture which enables an elastic connector to be passed through the aperture and around both the hook and the frame; and the clip further comprising a fastener to which the elastic connector and/or a second elastic connector can be fastened.
Resistance training equipment
A hex flex apparatus for improving resistance training is presented. The hex flex apparatus is useful for providing more than the standard two-dimension experience, in that a standard apparatus requires large jumps in band size and resistance to move up to the next level. The hex flex apparatus further adds a third dimension by allowing for smaller, more gradual increments to resistance, which leads to more and steadier strength progress before reaching a plateau or sticking point. A platform with two handles is described as is the band which is used to provide tension for resistance training. Further adjustable rods are shown which can be placed into various holes to control the tension and the rods have a ring magnet which provides for the rods being secured in the holes. The bands are further around the rods to access the value of the rods.
EXERCISE BAND, KIT, AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An exercise band including a waist band and a resistance band. The waist band is configured to be wrapped around the waist of a user and the resistance band is stretchable between an unstretched position and a stretched position. The waist band is configured to be releasably connected to the resistance band. Further, an exercise kit including a waist band and a number of resistance bands is disclosed. Each resistance bands in the exercise kit requires a different force for stretching the resistance band between the unstretched and stretched positions. Furthermore, a method for a user to exercise is disclosed. The method includes providing an exercise band, wrapping the waist band around the waist of the user, crossing the resistance band, stepping onto a portion of the resistance band, and performing squatting exercises such that the resistance band opposes the user's movement during the squatting exercise.
EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a base member configured for engaging a mounting structure including a first surface and an oppositely arranged second surface. The first surface of the mounting structure faces towards the user and the second surface of the mounting structure is configured to engage the base member. A coupling system of the exercise device couples the base member to the mounting structure. An arm is pivotally coupled to the base member and is configured to pivot between a retracted position and an operational position. A resistance member is directly coupled to the arm and includes a control member configured to be manipulated by a portion of the user.
DEVICE AND METHOD OF EXERCISE
A device and method of exercising that is light-weight, portable, versatile and requires no assembly. The device includes a substantially rigid body portion with substantially angled ends, suitable for engagement by hands or feet of a user, or in conjunction with doors, exercise equipment or additional exercise accessories, such as resistance bands, in order to perform numerous efficient and effective exercises.
Physical Therapy Device
A device for physical therapy includes a base on which a sliding platform is mounted. One or more of a plurality of springs may be selected to act between the base and the platform to tailor the resistance of platform motion to a specific therapy or patient. The platform has a removable cushion with a friction inducing surface which a patient may use in conjunction with a friction inducing headband to perform various neck therapies and exercises.
Exercise machine tension device securing system
An exercise machine tension device securing system for safely and efficiently securing selectable biasing members to an exercise machine. The exercise machine tension device securing system generally includes an exercise machine including a frame and a carriage movably positioned on the frame. A plurality of tension devices may be connected to the frame at one end; with the other end being removably connected to the carriage by a selection device. The selection device may include a plurality of slots for removably receiving one or more of the tension devices to secure the tension devices selectively to the carriage. A securing member movably connected to the selection device includes projections adapted to selectively enclose the slots so as to secure the tension devices within the slots of the selection device.
