SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RETROFITTING EXERCISE MACHINES WITH SMART FUNCTIONS
A method for retrofitting exercise machines includes removably attaching a sensor module to a moving part of an exercise machine, the sensor module being configured to detect movements of the moving part and transmit the detected data by a first wireless communication connection, placing a control module in a vicinity of yet separated from the exercise machine, the control module being configured to receive the detected data, calculate an angle value and a speed range using the detected data and transmit the angle value and the speed range by a second wireless communication connection, providing a remote cloud-based application server configured to receive the angle value and the speed range via the second wireless communication connection, verify a user, produce data packets based on the angle value, the speed range and the verified user information and transmit the data packets to a display device.
EXERCISE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
An improved method of physiotherapy includes loading muscles of a torso of a user with a torque acting substantially about a vertical axis; and the user using an exercise equipment while the torso is loaded with the torque.
Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve knee and ankle joint while exercising
An exercise device for performing exercises suitable to strengthen thigh and hip muscles such as a leg press machine, a total hip, a stationary bicycle, or a moving bicycle, and more particularly provides an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles while protecting the knees and ankle joints by enabling a user to locate a lower end of an arm on the user's thighs in a sitting, prone or supine position and move the user's legs in order to minimize a load or stress added to the knee and ankle joints.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine includes a resistance device and vertical members extending from a base. A moveable section mounted to the vertical members moves vertically along the vertical members and horizontally towards or away from a user. Additional vertical members, which are located outside the vertical members, extend from the base, and accommodate functional training devices which facilitate three-dimensional exercise movements by the user. Each functional training device includes pulleys which accommodate a cable mechanically linked to the resistance device and extending between the pulleys to a cable termination device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF A MOVEMENT
A system for a quantitative detection of a movement. The system includes a signal emitter and two signal receivers, positioned in series, along a first axis parallel to a second axis of movement of a reflective marker provided on a moving object. The reflective marker is configured to reflect a signal emitted by the signal emitter towards the two signal receivers. The two receivers have a signal reception coverage such that allows existence of a reflective marker position, on the second axis, in which the reflective marker of a given size is recognized simultaneously by the two signal receivers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COUNTING SPATIALLY ARRANGED, MOVING MARKERS
A method for counting spatially arranged, moving markers, wherein the markers being arranged to move along a movement axis parallel to a sensors axis of sensors for detecting the markers during movement. The number of sensors is lower than the number of markers in order to decrease the cost of the sensors system. The present system supports stacks having objects, associated with the markers, of different sizes such as weight plates of increasing height) or different weights.
Exercise machine system and method of use
An exercise system includes a frame having a vertical post with adjustment holes extending therethrough; a lever arm attached to the vertical post via a carriage, the carriage to adjust up and down via the adjustment holes; the carriage having a brace creating a channel to engage with the post; a pivoting system extending from the brace, the pivoting system having a side to side pivoting connection attached to a second brace, the side to side pivoting connection allowing for the second brace to pivot horizontally; a rotating connection attached to the second brace via a first plate and the lever arm via a second plate, the rotating connection allowing for rotational movement of the lever arm; the carriage allows for the lever arm to be adjusted vertically, from side to side, and in a pivoting direction as needed for attachment of one or more exercise attachments.
Training system and methods for designing, monitoring and providing feedback of training
Computing device enhanced training environment system comprising a computing device, I/O subsystem for permitting a user to enter at least one attribute of the training or of the trainee, a plurality of sensors for generating sensory information, a training environment in which a training activity takes place, a database containing training related information. The computing device enhanced training environment system configured for at least one of the following: design a training program for a plurality of users, monitor training program performance, monitor training performance, instruct a user about the training, determine and/or set difficulty level in training apparatus.
Exercise machine with movable user support
An exercise machine with a two directional pivoting user support assembly has a user support or platform which supports the user and pivots about a first pivot axis during an exercise movement, and is also pivotable about at least one second pivot axis to involve the user's core muscles in balancing and maintaining the user support in a stable position. A manually operable locking device with a simple flip switch lever is provided for selectively locking the user support against rotation about the second pivot axis, so that the user can easily chose whether to perform the exercise with a stable support or to add a level of difficulty by using the unstable seat mode and exercising core muscles during the exercise.
MODULAR MOBILE UNIT FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
A modular unit for physical activities, outdoors, containing a multi-purpose structural metal frame mounted on a floor of a trailer on wheels, through a fixing point. The multi-purpose structural frame includes two vertical beams linked by longitudinal and transversal longitudinal rails with sliding guides to associate two structurally extendable modules mounted at the front and rear and in turn two horizontal storage cabinets; it is also arranged in a solid way by bolts for fixing both to the multi-purpose structural frame and to the floor of the trailer to a set of individual pulley unit module and to another set of double pulley unit module associated with a weight system with protective covers, and also includes a vertical storage cabinet integrally associated with the multipurpose structural frame.
