Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to automatic guide vehicles (AGVs) that are capable of interacting with human operators. Particularly, the AGVs can follow a human operator, lead a human operator, and receive and react to gestures from a human operator. The AGVs switches directions of moving to provide human operators with easy access to components of user interface on the AGVs. The AGVs are also capable of avoiding collision with other AGVs by yielding to AGVs with a higher priority level.

A plate, which is coupled to and is selectively extensible from the bottom of the first suitcase, is selectively positionable in a retracted configuration, wherein the plate is stowed adjacent to the bottom, and an extended configuration, wherein the plate extends from and is perpendicular to a front of the first suitcase. The plate is configured to position an article so that the article is locomoted with the first suitcase.

The mid portion has a finger channel constructed of a partial sidewall, wherein the partial sidewall terminates in an open gap that operationally allows a user's finger to pass therethrough wherein the sidewall acts as a finger rest to facilitate finger movement thus moving the bracket to engage and disengage the flexible hook from the luggage handle. The luggage towing apparatus further includes a strap that is affixed the aperture, wherein operationally the strap is looped around a torso of the user to enable pulling the luggage across the surface hands free.

An article of rolling luggage is provided. The article has a retractable or collapsible handle that is convertible between a stored position and a first extended position of use. The handle is also rotatable about an axis such that the handle can be converted between a second extended position of use. The second extended position of use is characterized in that the luggage item may be provided such that a base portion of the item is substantially adjacent to and parallel with a ground surface. Various locking means to enable conversion between the stored position, first extended position of use and second extended position of use are also provided.
