In use, the plurality of tethers are positioned relative to a medial side of the ankle such that the elongated member is disposed between legs of a user.

Low friction rehabilitation board with an integral band retaining feature and methods of rehabilitation

A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.

PORTABLE STRENGTH TRAINING AND EXERCISE APPARATUS

A portable strength training and exercise apparatus constitutes an attachment belt to be worn by individual about the waist. The attachment belt has attachments thereto at points on center and sides of belt portion, attached to belt is locking strap holder, used for holding down adjustment straps, handy for loosening and adjusting resistance tension of resistance elastic tube while training. On the opposite end of belt is four hollow ball end, used for holding in hand and attaching to foot.

For upper extremities a hollow ball end is grasped in each hand fitting comfortably and is circular in shape gives individual flexibility and countless angles to exercise, individual donning apparatus exercises by moving both arms in almost any direction or angle an individual can manage.

For lower extremities the hollow ball end is connected to feet using foot straps, fitting comfortably moving both legs while exercising in almost any direction or angle an individual can manage, exercising the entire body extremities, simultaneous by moving both arms and feet, swing forward and swing back, straighten and back, muscles involved in these motions is tensioned and exercised.

Portable strength training and exercise apparatus is simple to use portable, friendly, light weight, low cost and ease of manufacturing making apparatus unique and affordable.

20180169456 · 2018-06-21 ·

Exercise systems that include self-coupling weight pods that couple with one another to form weight clusters that a user can use in performing various body movements, such as exercise and conditioning movements. Each weight pod typically has a calibrated weight so that the user may know the amount of weight they are using. Each weight pod includes one or more coupling features that allow that weight pod to couple to one or more other weight pods and/or to an accessory, such as a strap. In some embodiments, each weight pod is soft so as to inhibit injury to a user of another close by the user. The weight pods can be used with one or more accessories, such as a strap, a bell bag that emulates a kettle bell, and a rucksack that can be configured to be a multifunctional component of an overall exercise system, among others.

Disclosed is portable and easily securable mobilization belt for performing physical therapy on an affected joint comprising a continuous loop of inelastic woven material. The loop comprises an expanded section for securing in a door jamb and a cushioned section for contact with the patient's affected joint. Alternatively, the loop can be secured by wrapping around a vertical stanchion of a heavy piece of furniture or other solid object that will not move. In use, the affected joint is placed in the loop adjacent the cushioned section. With the loop taut, the patient provides resistance against the belt to create mobilization of the affected joint.
