Resistance Running System
The Resistance Running System may include at least one glove worn on the user's hand with an anchor point on the palm of the glove. This anchor point connects to an elastic band with connecting links on both ends. The opposite end of the elastic band connects to at least one strap worn around a user's leg. The strap is tightened and fixed by the use of a buckle with use of a simple hook and loop fastener. An anchor point on the strap allows at least one end of the elastic band to connect to the strap worn on the user's leg.
Exercise grip
Exercise grip and methods of forming exercise grips are disclosed. In one aspect, an exercise grip includes a wrist strap and a protective portion. The protective portion has a palm end and a finger end. The palm end is located closer to the wrist strap than the finger end. The finger end is formed offset from a centerline axis of the palm end of the protective portion.
Reconfigurable exercise backpack
Disclosed is a workout backpack that is capable of enabling a plurality of unique exercises for weight training, resistance training, and complete cardio conditioning. Suitably, the disclosed workout backpack includes built-in weight compartments, hookups for resistance bands, or rucking.
Multi-functional exercise device
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a multi-functional exercise device for improving flexibility, range of motion and muscle strength of the user's hands. The exercise device comprising a first band unit comprising a plurality of first spokes, plurality of first spokes connected diametrically opposite to second band unit comprising plurality of second spokes via a central hub, each first spoke provides a means for connecting a first band to central hub and each second spoke provides a means for connecting a second band to the central hub, and a wrist band comprising elongated bands secured to central hub, wrist band comprising an opening configured to wrap around wrist for improved stability and additional base support when both palms are stretched, the central hub comprising a miniature digital counter and a miniature stretch sensor, the miniature stretch sensor electrically coupled to the miniature digital counter.
Apparatus for improving the technical ability related to the use of a musical instrument, in particular for training the fingers of a hand
An apparatus for improving technical ability related to the use of a musical instrument, in particular for finger exercise, comprising a bearing structure that can be mated to the back of the hand of a user by removable fastening means; the apparatus further comprises a movable component, constituted by one or more rings, each of which is designed to be associated with a phalanx of a finger of the hand, each ring being connected to the bearing structure by elastic means; the apparatus finds application both in the development of technical ability related to the use of any musical instrument, with particular effectiveness on stringed instruments, and in the medical field in rehabilitation therapy for use of the hand.
Wearable exercise and posture-awareness assist device
An exercise device includes a belt and a shoulder harness, the latter attachable to a user about the thorax. The belt is extensible about a user below user's chest or thorax. Two bungee cords are attachable one at its ends to the user's hands, and the other at its ends to the user's feet. An elongate strip has a pair of parallel adjacent channels, the hand bungee traversing the upper channel and the feet bungee traversing the lower channel. The two channels are connected a back portion of the shoulder harness. Two shoulder straps are each fixed at one end to the belt and are continuous with the back portion of the shoulder harness.
Exercise and balance training device
An exercise training device includes a base, a balance board, and a coil spring. The balance board includes a pair of foot pegs located at the distal ends of the balance board. The coil spring has a longitudinal axis and is vertically mounted between the base and the balance board. The coil spring deflects in response to forces applied laterally relative to the longitudinal axis of the coil spring such that a user can perform strength and balance exercises by controlling the position of the balance board. The exercise training device can include a handlebar mount configured to secure handlebars of a motorcycle or bicycle thereto and can be used to represent movement of the handlebars of a motorcycle or bicycle a user experiences while riding. Multiple forms of exercise can be performed with the present exercise training device.
Robotic finger exoskeleton
The present disclosure includes a finger exoskeleton including a plurality of joints and a plurality of sensors configured to measure rotation of at least some of the plurality of joints of the finger exoskeleton. The finger exoskeleton also includes a series elastic actuator comprising a spring element, the series elastic actuator configured to rotate at least one of the plurality of joints. The finger exoskeleton also includes a computing device configured to control operation of the series elastic actuator based on a torque of the at least one of the plurality of joints, the torque determined at least based on the spring element and rotation of the at least one of the plurality of joints. The present disclosure also includes associated methods and hand exoskeletons.
Medical protective and exercise restraint systems and methods
Intended to prevent self-extubation of nasal or oral tubes of an awake patient who may reflexively attempt removal of such and allow the early mobilization and exercise necessary for preservation of as much muscle strength as possible, promotion of diaphragmatic motion necessary for liberation from a ventilator, reduction of patient stress allowing for sedation minimization and improved cognition for reduction of delirium and post-intensive care syndrome, and relief of medical staff and healthcare dollars to focus more on healthcare rather than on protection from self-harm.
Resistance exercise glove
The resistance exercise glove is a therapeutic device and a garment worn on a hand. The resistance exercise glove exercises the hand by providing an opposing force that works against the movement of the hand. The opposing force provides a resistance based therapeutic exercise that strengthens the hand. The resistance exercise glove comprises a glove, a plurality of resistance bands, a pocket, and a squeeze device. The glove is further defined with a front side, a rear side, and an opening. The hand inserts into the glove through the opening. The plurality of resistance bands attach to the rear side of the glove such that each of the resistance bands opposes the bending of a finger. The pocket is formed on the front side of the glove. The pocket contains the squeeze device. The squeeze device is an elastomeric device that opposes the squeezing motion of the hand.
