Robot system for active and passive upper limb rehabilitation training based on force feedback technology

A robot system for active and passive upper limb rehabilitation training based on a force feedback technology includes a robot body and an active and passive training host computer system. Active and passive rehabilitation training may be performed at degrees of freedom such as adduction/abduction and flexion/extension of left and right shoulder joints, and flexion/extension of left and right elbow joints according to a condition of a patient. In a passive rehabilitation training mode, the robot body drives the upper limb of the patient to move according to a track specified by the host computer, to gradually restore a basic motion function of the upper limb. In an active rehabilitation training mode, the patient holds the tail ends of the robot body with both hands to interact with a rehabilitation training scene, and can feel real and accurate force feedback.

Holding device for using gym equipment

A method and apparatus for exercising a muscle in a given agonist and antagonist muscle pair of a user's human body by providing an elongated elastic band having a first length when no external forces are applied thereto, elongating the elastic band to a second length that is greater than the first length, securing the elastic band to a garment in a manner whereby when the elastic band is installed on the garment an axial force is imposed on the body of the user and the elastic band is disposed in aligned proximate relationship with at least one of the muscles in a given pair of muscles comprising an agonist muscle and antagonist muscle pair.

EXERCISE SYSTEM FOR USING VARIABLE LOCATION ANCHORS AND VARIABLE BIASING ELEMENTS, AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF

The present invention generally relates to a system for exercise using a set of mounting plates attached to a surface capable of being modulated as to both the number and location of anchor points, the use of shortening elements to quickly vary the effective length of a set of biasing elements to allow a user, holding one or more exercise attachments to perform exercises in the aerobic, the strength, the flexibility, and in the balance areas. The system allows for easy class dynamics as users can quickly reconfigure the system using one or many of snap-connects The system allows for hundreds of different exercises to be performed, a rapid transition between exercise, a simple method to target specific muscle groups at specific angles of exercise to create a full body experience.
