LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
Basketball shot training device to improve jump shots
A basketball shot training device comprising a wrist band 1; a finger piece 2 having two different size open ring holes 3, 4 for placement and securing on the user's index and middle fingers, a forked shaft portion 5 with a straight connection 6 to said open ring hole 3 for the index finger and a curved connection 7 to said open ring hole for the middle finger; and a straight shaft portion 8 connected at one end to said forked shaft portion and at the opposite end having an attachment means 9 to attach to said wrist band.
Basketball shot training device
A training device for training a player to shoot a basketball. The device includes a plate member configured to engage at least a portion of a hand and wrist of a non-shooting hand of the player, at least one attachment member connected to the plate member and configured to secure the plate member to the non-shooting hand of the player, and a link strap connected at a first end to the plate member and having an aperture through which a wrist of a shooting hand of the player can be aligned. The non-shooting hand and the shooting hand are linked together such that the non-shooting hand is restricted from rotation relative to the shooting hand when the non-shooting hand and the shooting hand are placed in spaced relation on an associated basketball.
Hand Positioning Strap System for Athletic Training
A first, fix length, strap, a second strap made from an elastic material, and the two end loops and hook and loop fastener for attaching them around the wrist of a wearer. Constructed from a single, inelastic strap, where on each opposing end a second partial strap length is sewn to provide a split end of two equal lengths. On each end of the split ends, a hook and fastener material is attached to allow the split ends to be removable attached to form a loop, which can then be worn around a wearer's wrist. A second strap attached to the device made from an elastic or stretchable material and shorter in length that the first, inelastic strap. In a stretched position the elastic second strap is stretched and creates a tension force to pull the extended first strap back to a shortened position.
Rehabilitation assistance device and program for controlling rehabilitation assistance device
A rehabilitation assistance device (1), provided with: an arm part (30) having a holding part (20) for holding a part of the upper limb or the lower limb of a user, the arm part (30) movably supporting the holding part (20); a memory unit (80) for storing training information, the memory unit (80) storing first training information defined in advance; a motion information acquisition unit (61) for acquiring motion information associated with the movement of the holding part (20), the motion information acquisition unit (61) acquiring first motion information for the holding part (20) moved on the basis of the first training information; a motion evaluation unit (72) for generating evaluation information in which the motion information is evaluated, the motion evaluation unit (72) evaluating the first motion information and generating first evaluation information; and a display (40) for displaying at least one of the training information, the motion information, and the evaluation information.
DRIBBLE MASTER APPARATUS
A dribble master apparatus including a training assembly including a belt having a right-hand fixed loop, and a left-hand fixed loop. An optional right-hand tether and left-hand tether may further be included. The right-hand tether and the right-hand fixed loop are configured at opposing ends of the belt to the left-hand tether and the left-hand fixed loop. The belt is configured to be secured around a waist of a user-wearer. The right-hand tether, the left-hand tether, the right-hand fixed loop, and the left-hand fixed loop are configured to be used in a selective combination to restrain a user's hands for basketball and resistance dribble training.
HYBRID GOLF GUIDE SYSTEM
A golf guide system includes a terminal to be carried by a user who is playing golf, and a location information transmitter provided in the terminal and a hole and transmitting location information of the hole to the terminal, generates a distance by measuring a distance between the terminal and the location information transmitter, and guides a distance and a recommendable club based on analysis of environment and geography between the terminal and the hole.
Finger restraining device for keyboard
A teaching device that teaches a user how to properly use a piano keyboard by restraining the fingers of a hand of the user in a specifically bent orientation. The teaching device includes a wrist band and a restrainer arrangement. The wrist band wraps around the wrist of the hand of the user. The restrainer arrangement is operatively connected to the wrist band and engages the fingers of the hand of the user to teach the user how to properly use the piano keyboard by restraining the fingers of the hand of the user in the specifically bent orientation.
