20240173193 · 2024-05-30 ·

A knee rehabilitative device permits a user to provide resistive stretching caused when the leg or other joint is extended or straightened, facilitating exercise and strengthening of the user's muscles and improved flexibility in the area of the knee or other joint area.

Bimanual arm trainer

A bimanual arm trainer that provides therapeutic bimanual repetitive exercise to improve upper body movement and flexibility has a top support that is elevated relative to a ground surface. The trainer further includes: (a) first and second arm holders that are pivotable relative to the top support; and (b) first and second arm holder housings that are pivotably coupled to the top support and can be moved into a plurality of different positions and locked in place in one of the plurality of different positions relative to the top support. The first arm holder is pivotably coupled to the first arm holder and the second arm holder is pivotably coupled to the second arm holder. A reciprocating translation mechanism operatively connects the first and second arm holders such that the motion of one of the first and second arm holders is mirrored in the other of the first and second arm holders.

COMBINED TRAINING AND MONITORING DEVICE

A method for resistance training to arm and leg movement can include connecting a horizontally oriented raised weight base secured to a moveable sled in a spaced apart relationship, mounting a agility box, threading a first flexible and extendable one piece stretch cord through a plurality of aligned first upper rollers, securing a static non-extending stretch cord between the moveable sled and a subject, pulling on the first flexible and extendable one piece stretch cord connected to the moveable sled by the subject to receive a first load of resistance causing a physiological change to a targeted part of the subject and simultaneously receiving a second load of resistance to a targeted part of the subject while pulling the moveable sled with the static non-extendable stretch cord.

HAND COVERING HAVING A RETAINER ELEMENT
20190192955 · 2019-06-27 ·

Embodiments provide a hand covering, such as a glove or mitten, with a retainer for holding the hand covering in a retaining configuration when not being worn covering the hand of a user. The hand covering may include a central hand portion, a finger receiving portion extending from the central hand portion, and a strap. The hand covering may extend generally in a longitudinal direction from a proximal side at the central hand portion to a distal side at the finger receiving portion. The central hand portion may define at the proximal side a cavity configured to receive a hand. The strap may be attached to an inside face of the central hand portion and extend generally lateral to the longitudinal direction. The strap may be separable from the inside face in between a first attached end and a second attached end to define a passageway configured to receive a hand.

Cable Attachable Forearm Cover Assembly

A cable attachable forearm cover assembly for performing upper body workouts without using a person's hands includes a sleeve that is worn on a forearm of a person. A securing unit is positioned on the sleeve and secures a hand of the person to the sleeve to inhibit the sleeve from sliding along the forearm. A plurality of attachment members is positioned on the securing unit and engages cabling of a weight lifting apparatus.

Shoulder end range of motion improving device

A shoulder end range of motion improving device has a linkage, the linkage including a first link member, a second link member supported on the first link member, the second link member configured for being secured to an arm of a patient and being rotatable about a second link axis for rotating the arm of the patient about a shoulder joint of the patient through an arm range of motion, the second link axis being displaceable into a selectable fixed position, the fixed position being maintained during rotation of the second link member, an actuator for rotating the second link member about the second link axis, and a controller controlling the actuator for selectively rotating the second link member about the second link axis through the arm range of motion.

Resistance Training System

A physical training system includes a belt having a back attachment member and a first band attachment loop for an elastomeric belt. The back attachment member is moveably positioned on the belt and at least partially encircles the belt. The back attachment member comprises a first portion and a second portion, the first portion extending completely across a width of the belt on the outer side of the belt, and the second portion extending at least partially across the width of the belt on the inner side of the belt. The first band attachment loop is moveably connected to the back attachment member. The elastomeric band extends through the first band attachment loop. A foot coupling includes at least one flexible strap and a second band attachment loop. The elastomeric band extends between the foot coupling and the back attachment member.

Exercise Device Limb Interface

A limb interface device for an exercise apparatus including a handle member within an inner frame member that can be rotatable about a first axis with a first joint, for gripping with one or two hands by a user. The first joint can be limited to about 40 or less rotation. At least one outer support member can support the inner frame member. The inner frame member can be rotatable about a second axis orthogonal to the first axis with a second joint. An outer arc member can support the at least one support member. The at least one support member can be rotatable about a third axis orthogonal to the second axis with a third joint. An arm member can support the outer arc member. The outer arc member can rotate about a fourth axis that is orthogonal to the third axis with a fourth joint. The fourth joint can allow rotation of about 180 or less rotation and is associated with a centering biasing arrangement for resiliently biasing the outer arc member towards a centered position when rotated. The arm member can also be rotatable about a fifth axis that is longitudinal to the arm member and orthogonal to the fourth axis with a fifth joint. The arm member can extend from the exercise apparatus.
