Resistance-Training Apparatus Compatible with Gloves and Machines
Disclosed are systems and methods for resistance bands that enable the foot to serve as an anchor for the upper body. The disclosure enables the concurrent use of sparring gloves without restraining the use of hands or feet, allowing one to move about freely while still benefiting from the resistance bands. And the disclosure provides the option of being used interchangeably with exercise machines. Such methods, apparatuses, and systems are form fitting to the hand and feet and provide safe hand/foot support, so as to reduce the potential for injury regardless of increase in muscle activation and strengthening.
EXERCISE GRIP
An exercise grip is disclosed. The exercise grip includes a protective portion and a wrist strap connected to a wrist end of the protective portion. The protective portion has a finger end in which three or four finger holes are defined. The protective portion also has a palm portion that extends from the finger holes to the wrist end. The protective portion varies in width from the wrist end to the finger end. The protective portion can be formed to cover an ulnar portion of a wrist when placed on a hand.
Portable device for upper limb rehabilitation
The invention refers to a portable device (100) for upper limb (2, 3) rehabilitation which is movable over a surface, usually a flat horizontal surface, and which comprises means for detecting an intention to move from the user (1), thereby providing assistance/resistance to perform the right movement just when needed, especially when the goal movement is non-deterministic. Additionally, the portable device (100) of the invention comprises a support structure for the forearm of a user (which can be similar to an armrest) which is pivotable, preferably in a direction of the rotational joint of elbow (it pivots vertically around a horizontal axis), thereby allowing free ergonomic elbow and shoulder flexion/extension, but restricting shoulder rotation, which is determined by the orientation of the device in order to avoid injuries. The invention further refers to a method for rehabilitating an upper limb (2, 3) of a user (1), and to a rehabilitation system for an upper limb (2, 3) of a user (1), comprising such portable device (100).
Personal fitness device using VR
Provided is a personal fitness machine device using VR including: a driving unit collecting front location information of a user and front posture information of the user; a VR unit which collects rear location information, rear posture information, and distance information of the user; an exercise unit including a bottom frame, a footrest unit, a separation prevention unit, a back support frame, and a waist protector; and a control unit which controls the driving unit, the VR unit, and the exercise unit, compares the front posture information of the user and pre-stored posture information, and generates posture correction information.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device can include a handle having a handle axis and a handle weight. A head can be removably coupled to a distal end of the handle with a single fastener adjacent a proximal end of the head. The head can have a head weight and can be axe-shaped. A distal end of the head can be blunt. A portion of each of the proximal and distal ends can be planar.
ORTHOSTATIC HYPOTENSION ALLEVIATION DEVICE
An orthostatic hypotension alleviation device comprising an outer casing comprising an aperture extending therethrough; a carriage arranged within the outer casing and configured to be reciprocally displaced towards and away from the aperture along a carriage displacement axis; a spindle arranged on the carriage and configured to rotate about a spindle axis; a tether at least partially wound around the spindle, the tether comprising a distal end extending through the aperture, the tether being arranged such that it can be extended from a retracted configuration to an extended configuration in which the tether is fully extended by pulling the distal end away from the aperture so rotating the spindle about the spindle axis; a spindle biasing mechanism connected to the spindle and configured to apply a biasing torque to the spindle about the spindle axis so as to bias the tether towards the retracted configuration; and, a carriage biasing mechanism arranged within the outer casing connected to the carriage and configured to bias the carriage away from the aperture.
Portable resistance workout apparatuses and systems
The invention comprises a portable strength-training apparatus and system for conducting strength-training exercises using resistance bands. The apparatus of the present disclosure can serve as an anchor while conducting the strength training exercises using the resistance bands. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure can allow for safely performing the strength-training exercises at varying resistance levels while allowing exercises at any angle. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure may allow a user to strength train with the resistance bands throughout the user's entire body. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure may include a base platform with base attachment mechanisms that can be coupled with the resistance bands which are in turn coupled with human interface mechanisms such as grips, wraps, or bars.
Hand grip for transmitting stress through a hand strap to a wrist strap
A hand grip for transmitting tensile stress through a hand strap from an object, such as the bar of a barbell, being gripped to the wrist of the wearer without stressing the hand of the wearer, and extending around the bar of the barbell between the bar and the palm of the wearer. A block of relatively firm material is secured to and projects from the hand grip in a position to be engaged by the fingers of the wearer to lessen the possibility of the hand grip opening to release the bar of the barbell. The block has a flat front and a outer surfaces forming an edge for engagement under the knuckle of at least one finger of the hand of the wearer, and the front surface projects from the hand strap sufficiently to avoid lessening the grasp of the block by the fingers of the wearer.
REHABILITATION DEVICE
Disclosed is a rehabilitation device including: a first support unit which supports palms; a second support unit which is provided in one side of the first support unit thereby supporting fingers; a driving unit which moves the second support unit toward the direction of the back of a hand; and a joint unit which allows the first support unit to be tilted as the second support unit moves. The fingers and palms are allowed to be sequentially flipped.
