LATCH ARRANGEMENT HAVING A STOP LATCH
A latch arrangement for fastening a panel of a door or a window to a frame element, the panel including a depression is provided. The latch arrangement includes a locking element pivotally mounted on the frame element and displaceable between a locked position in which the locking element is engaged with the depression of the panel locking thereby the panel to the frame element, and an unlocked position in which the locking element is disengaged from the depression of the panel unlocking thereby the panel from the frame element, a stop latch selectively deployable to secure the locking element in the locked position, precluding thereby displacement of the locking element to the unlocked position; and an actuating mechanism configured to selectively pivot the locking element away from the depression to the unlocked position.
DOOR LOCK DEVICE FOR WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF LOCKING WASHING MACHINE DOOR
The present disclosure provides a door lock device for releasably locking a door of a washing machine. The door lock device has first to third latches, and a drive motor and a latch drive mechanism for moving the third latch. The first latch releasably locks the door of the washing machine and is movable in frontward and rearward directions. The movement of the first latch is changed at a change position. The first latch is always biased frontward by a spring. The second latch releasably locks the first latch, which locks the door of the washing machine, at a door locking position. The third latch is moved in a direction perpendicular to the movement direction of the first latch. The third latch restricts the first latch at the door locking position, or unlocks the first latch after pushing the first latch from the door locking position against the spring.
ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE RELIEF LATCH
A latch including a housing having side members each having an elongated slot, a bolt mounted rotatably to the housing and positioned between the side members of the housing, an adjustment mechanism, and a pin and roller positioned slidably within the elongated slots of the side members of the housing. The adjustment mechanism includes a compression spring, a central cap for receiving the pin and roller therethrough, and a nut for adjusting the load on the compression spring. The bolt is moveable between a first, closed position, in which the pin and roller are engaged with the bolt, and a second open position, in which the pin and roller are disengaged from the bolt. The latch can be opened automatically when a defined load, as adjusted by the adjustment mechanism, is provided on the bolt to disengage the pin and roller from the bolt.
