INTERACTIVE EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
The present invention relates to equipment used in the exercise of human beings. The equipment may be of a commercial type as used in gymnasiums, or of a consumer type for use in a domestic environment. Exercise apparatus configured such that a mechanical motion of a user executing an exercise activity positively affects a child on or about the apparatus are provided. The exercise apparatus may be configured to translate a mechanical motion of a user executing an exercise activity on the apparatus into a mechanical motion capable of positively affecting a child on or about the apparatus. The positive effect on the may be any one or more of moving, entertaining, occupying, distracting, stimulating, calming, settling, and educating. The mechanical motion capable of affecting a child has the effect of moving a child on or about the apparatus. The exercise apparatus may comprise child physical engagement means configured to receive the translated mechanical motion of the user so as to move a child in or about the child physical engagement means.
Exercise Machine With Variable Resistance System
The exercise machine with a variable resistance system includes a frame, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame, a main shaft rotatably connected to the frame, a main connector attached between the main shaft and the exercise implement, a plurality of resistance assemblies and a plurality of actuation assemblies adapted for selectively engaging or disengaging at least one of the plurality of resistance assemblies with respect to the main shaft. The plurality of resistance assemblies apply a total level of rotational resistance against the main shaft based on which of the plurality of resistance assemblies are engaged with the main shaft by the plurality of actuation assemblies.
Exercise machine having elastic exercise resistance cables
An exercise machine includes an upright mounting assembly having a top and a bottom spaced-apart from the top. The exercise machine includes a seat operatively connected to the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a first pair of space-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the top of the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a second pair of spaced-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the bottom of the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a plurality of exercise resistance cables connected at proximal end portions to the upright mounting assembly and extending around and outward, respectively, from the first and second pairs of spaced-apart pulley assemblies.
Strength and fitness exercise machine
An exercise machine has a main frame which supports and includes a carriage support base, a torso carriage assembly coupled to the carriage support base, an upper torso support slidably coupled to the torso carriage assembly, an adjustable shoulder support slidably coupled to a track assembly, a foot support assembly slidably coupled to a foot support carriage, and an adjustable resistance operably connected with the shoulder support and the upper torso support.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXERCISE
An apparatus comprises a main bench body; at least one slot located on the main bench body, the slot configured to slidably receive a bar in at least one fixed position; at least one bar comprising a shape configured to be slidably inserted into the slot on the main bench body in at least one fixed position; a back rest pivotally mounted to the main bench body; a seat rest pivotally mounted to the main bench body; and at least one support lever adjustably attached to the main bench body.
Ergonomic Handle for an Exercise Machine
An improved ergonomic handle for an exercise machine having a cross-sectional shape designed to more closely conform with the natural anatomical shape of a hand in a grasping position for reducing compressive pressure on the hand during exercise, improving grip, and accommodating a wide range of hand sizes. The ergonomic handle for an exercise machine generally includes solid bars and hollow tubular structures with a variety of substantially polygonal cross-sections, including various substantially triangular and trapezoidal cross-sections. Alternative embodiments include underlying bars and handles of various cross-sectional shapes with resilient cover materials having substantially polygonal cross-sections. The improved ergonomic handles may replace traditional round cross-section handles anywhere on an exercise machine they may be located.
EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a seat plate, a foldable seat support attached to the seat plate and having a pair of legs and a pair of stays pivotally coupled together, a shaft connects the stays together, a pair of spring biasing members attached to the shaft, and a pair of levers attached to the spring biasing members for allowing the levers to be pivoted and moved relative to the shaft and the stays with the spring biasing members, and the levers each include a foot stem for being stepped and actuated by a user. A housing is mounted to the shaft, and the housing includes three panels attached to the shaft and parallel to each other for forming two chambers between the panels and for slidably engaging with the levers and the spring biasing members.
ULTRA CLASSIC REFORMER APPARATUS
A rectangular frame for a reformer exercise apparatus is disclosed which includes a pair of spaced apart side rail members, a head end member, a foot end member; and four corner members, each joining one of the side rail members to one of the end members. Each side rail member and each end member is a rigid generally rectangular extrusion. The top wall, the bottom wall and the inner vertical wall have interior screw races. The outer vertical wall has a pair of spaced interior projecting screw races. Each corner member is fastened to one of the end members and one of the side members by threaded fasteners projecting from the screw races through apertures in the L shaped elongated corner member, and an L shaped cover hides these fasteners from view.
Self-housed portable exercise equipment
Exercise equipment includes a case having first and second parts. The first part is movable relative to the second part and defines a closed state in which an interior compartment is defined and an open state in which the interior compartment is accessible. The first and second parts each have a bottom panel and at least one side panel extending from an outer edge thereof. The first part includes a pair of connection implements in or on side panels opposite one another. In a use state, a connection pin engages with the connection implements, a pneumatic cylinder connects to the connection pin and includes an extendable actuating rod, and an attachment is attachable to the actuating rod and allows a user to interact therewith to exercise. The connection pin, pneumatic cylinder, and attachment fits in the interior compartment in their storage state.
SACROILIAC JOINT EXERCISE ASSISTANCE DEVICE IN LATERAL DECUBITUS POSITION
An exercise assist device transitively moves a sacroiliac joint in a lateral decubitus position. The following description is provided in the context of a left lateral decubitus position. The upper right leg is placed on a stand in the lateral decubitus position, and the upper right leg is then extended transitively backward with a sacral area supported by a sacrum support pad. Since a posterior side of a lower left sacroiliac joint is slightly opened, a sacrum slides backward via a right hip joint. This improves mobility of the lower left sacroiliac joint.
