The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for training the muscles of the upper torso and/or for relaxing the spinal column of a person, with a movable carriage for receiving the person, and with a guide path along which the movable carriage with the person is guided and moved in such a way that kinetic energy is applied at least intermittently to the person for distraction of the torso or of the spinal column of the person. According to the invention, provision is made that the person on the movable carriage is received on the support lying in a substantially horizontal position, that the hips, legs and/or feet of the person on the support are fixed with a fixing arrangement, and that the movable carriage, with the person lying on it, is moved substantially horizontally along the guide path.

Exercise machine includes a base and a cushion. The cushion is slidably connected to the rotary rod. A left pedal and a right pedal are arranged at the front end of the base or at positions. A supporting rail is arranged on the base and has two sides respectively provided with guide grooves. A sliding frame is cooperatively disposed on the supporting rail and provided with left wheels and right wheels, which are respectively matched with the guide grooves. A left cross rod and a right cross rod respectively extend out from two sides of the supporting rod. A left pull rod and a right pull rod are respectively hinged to the end of the left cross rod and the end of the right cross rod. Elastic ropes are disposed between the left pull rod and the rotary rod, and also between the right pull rod and the rotary rod.

Exercise Machine with Multiple Platforms

An exercise machine with multiple platforms for an exerciser to perform a variety of exercises generally includes an elongated frame structure supporting stationary first and second end platforms, a longitudinal rail extending between the end platforms and having an upper surface comprising a central platform, and a slideable carriage platform that reciprocates on the rail over the central platform and between the end platforms. The platforms provide multiple support surfaces at multiple elevations on which exercisers can position parts of their bodies during exercise. The platforms may be provided with positioning indices and provide continuous support surfaces over substantially the entire length of the exercise machine. The central platform may be provided with finger grips for exercisers to grasp. One or more mounting platforms may be provided to faciliate mounting and dismounting of the exercise machine.

A physical exercise apparatus includes a frame, a seat, an arm, and a pair of cycling hand pedals. The seat is supported by the frame and is configured to support a user in an at least partially supine position. The arm is movably attached to a first portion of the frame and coupled with a linearly movable resistance load. The pair of cycling hand pedals is attached to a second portion of the frame and is independently movable from the arm so that the user can cycle the pair of cycling hand pedals while separately moving the arm with a portion of his or her lower body.

A bench press includes a frame, a first portion of the frame configured to support a resistance load; a bench supported by the frame, the bench configured to provide a user access to the resistance load while the user is supported on the bench in an at least partially supine position; and a pair of movable foot pedals connected to a second portion of the frame and configured so that the user can engage the movable foot pedals while accessing the resistance load.

EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
20180326258 · 2018-11-15 ·

The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.

Exercise machine rail system

An exercise machine rail system for improved exerciser mounting and dismounting, improved functional ergonomics, and reduced risk of exerciser injury when using an exercise machine. The exercise machine rail system generally includes either two rails in close relationship which are linked together via connectors or a singular rail. Bias members are disclosed as either extending along either outer side of the rails, internally to the rail, or underneath the rail. Due to the narrow nature of the rails used by the present invention, an exerciser is able to mount and dismount the exercise machine easily and efficiently.

A multifunctional exercise machine includes carriages associated with resistance. Cable arm assemblies are mounted on the machine for use in performing desired exercises using the carriages and/or resistance. At least one of the cable arm assemblies is rotatable in a generally horizontal plane and includes arm segments, where one arm segment is rotatable relative to the other arm segment in a generally vertical plane. The machine also includes a vertically adjustable monolift assembly having arms for supporting a barbell in the machine, where the arms are adjustable between multiple different rotatable positions as well as in a direction generally parallel to longitudinal axes of the arms. A bench is provided that can be docked in the machine, and that includes a telescoping support for providing added stability to the bench when desired. A spotting assembly is also provided for use in catching barbells at desired locations in the machine.
