STEERING SHAFT ASSEMBLY
A steering shaft assembly includes a first member and a second member, each having an inner surface and an outer surface, and each extending between a first end and a second end, the first member first end arranged to be received within the second member such that the second member inner surface is disposed about a portion of the first member outer surface. The assembly further includes a shaft extending from a third member, the shaft extending into the first member second end along the axis. The assembly yet further includes a roller element assembly disposed between the first member outer surface and the second member inner surface. The assembly also includes a pin extending through an opening of the second member, an opening of the first member, and an opening of the roller element assembly.
Latch system
A slidable conveying assembly may include a latch frame and a latch rod rotatably engaged with, and extending at least partially through the latch frame. The latch rod may include a latch paddle at a first end. The assembly may also include a notch frame configured to slidably engage with the latch frame and a notched bar that may extend at least partially through the front notch frame and that may include multiple notches. The assembly may also include a biasing mechanism operably coupled to the latch frame and the latch rod and configured to bias the latch paddle into the multiple notches such that the latch paddle is biased into removable engagement with the multiple notches as the latch frame slides along the notch frame.
COMPONENTS FOR SHADE STRUCTURES
A mount for a shade structure, in particular a collapsible pavilion. The mount has a base and a cover. The base has a space formed therein configured to receive a ground support of a shade structure. The cover has a top surface and a bottom surface to be secured to the base. A groove is formed in the mount and is configured to pivotably receive a rib. The groove is disposed between opposed walls of the mount. A pin retention recess is disposed on each side of the opposed walls in one of the cover and the base. A plurality of projections are provided that each have a first end fixed to one of the cover and the base in which the pin retention recess is not formed and a second end disposed away from the fixed end. One of the projections is configured to enclose a portion of the retention recess when the cover and the base are secured together.
CABLE COUPLINGS FOR DRAIN CLEANING TOOLS
Cable coupling assemblies are described which can be readily engaged and separated from one another. The couplings are particularly useful for use in torque transmitting cables such as those used in drain cleaning applications.
Button assembly
A button assembly for a telescopic hot stick is provided. The button assembly comprises a button housing, a button, and a fastener. The button housing defines a cavity and at least one groove, and the cavity has a bottom cavity surface. The button is disposed in the cavity and the button has a first end and a second end. The second end is configured to face the bottom cavity surface. The fastener is disposed within the at least one groove, and the fastener is positioned adjacent the second end of the button. The fastener is spaced apart from the second end to collectively define a gap between the second end and the fastener.
Button assemblies for extension poles
A button assembly is provided that includes a plug, a button, and a biasing member. The plug can be received in an inner pole section. The button is slidably received in the plug for movement between a locked position extended from the plug and an unlocked position retracted with respect to the plug. The biasing member biases the button to the locked position. The button has a land region, a cammed region, and a locking edge. The cammed region slopes from the land region in a direction towards the locking edge. The land region is remote from any pinch point formed between the plug and the locking edge.
UMBRELLA POLE
A multi-piece umbrella pole that includes first and second pole sections that are assembled into an elongate umbrella pole. The pole sections include an alignment notch and cross pin for facilitating assembly of the two pole sections. An outer sleeve includes a button assembly that can actuate a detent pin for coupling or decoupling the pole sections. The outer sleeve can also include an actuator for a tilt mechanism that angles a canopy portion of the umbrella assembly.
Extending pole clamping device
An extending pole clamping device comprises a main body mounted on one end of an outer pole that receives insertion of an inner pole, a second body surrounding the inner pole and connected to the main body at the back portion, and a clamping lever rotatably connected at a base thereof to dual ramps at a front side of the second body. The extending pole clamping device further comprises a push button at a front side of the main body, wherein the push button is linked to an engagement pin that penetrates the outer pole and inserts into an engagement hole on the inner pole. The extending pole clamping device is unlocked by firstly opening the clamping lever and secondly depressing the push button to allow adjustment of the length of the inner pole, and locked by firstly releasing the push button and secondly closing the clamping lever.
