An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament includes a tubular chassis telescopable in an elongate chassis, a carrier subassembly including a tubular carrier slidably arranged partially inside the chassis and inside the case, the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring, a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, a control spring arranged around the carrier, a needle insertion control mechanism for coupling a proximal end of the control spring to either the carrier for advancing it for needle insertion or to the chassis, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier, wherein the needle insertion control mechanism includes a first collar biased by the control spring in a proximal direction, and wherein at least one fifth clip is arranged on one of the chassis or the first collar.

An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament (M) is presented having an elongate case, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged inside the case, where the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle. The injector also has, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier. A control spring is arranged around the carrier for translating the carrier in a proximal direction (P) for advancing the needle beyond a proximal end of the auto-injector, and a trigger button is used for releasing the control spring on actuation.

The injector also includes a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe. A trigger button is distally arranged in or on the case, wherein the trigger button is initially coupled to the case in a manner to protrude distally from the case and interlocked to the chassis in a manner preventing the trigger button from disengaging the case.

A steering shaft having an outer shaft and an inner shaft accommodated therein in a torque-locking, axially displaceable manner and an axial inner stop which projects radially outwards from an outer face of the inner shaft. When the inner shaft is pulled out of the outer shaft, the axial inner stop strikes against an axial outer stop projecting radially inwards from an inner face of the outer shaft, wherein the axial displacement of the inner shaft is limited in the pull-out direction. With regard to simple production of the outer stops with the least possible deformation of the entire cross section of the outer shaft, the outer stop is introduced by at least one forming process into an end portion of the outer shaft, wherein the axis of the direction of introduction in each case forms an angle of more than 20 with the radial direction of the outer shaft.

The locking assembly moves axially towards the inner reducing sleeve under the action of the outer reducing sleeve to clamp the inner tube on said inner reducing sleeve. A first sealing structure is provided between the inner and outer reducing sleeves. An activity seal slot surrounding the inner tube forms between the outer reducing sleeve and the locking assembly and accommodates a second sealing structure therein.
