Auto-injector

An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament is presented that has a tubular chassis telescopable in a tubular case, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged relative to the chassis inside the case, where the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle. The injector has a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier. There is also a trigger button arranged distally or laterally in or on the case, a control spring arranged around the carrier, and a needle extension control mechanism for coupling a proximal end of the control spring to either the carrier for advancing it for needle extension or to the chassis for needle retraction depending on the relative axial position of the carrier and the chassis.

Locking mechanism for telescoping members

A locking mechanism for inner and outer telescoping members includes a housing fixedly attached to the axial outer end of the outer telescoping member. A cam member is mounted on the housing for pivotal movement between a locking position applying pressure urging a pressure pad in a radial through opening in the housing against the outer surface of the inner telescoping member to lock the inner telescoping member against axial movement relative to the outer telescoping member, and an unlocking position releasing the applied pressure.

Auto-injector

An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament (M) is presented having a tubular chassis telescopable in an elongate chassis, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged partially inside the chassis and inside the case, where the carrier is adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier. The auto-injector also has a control spring arranged around the carrier, a needle insertion control mechanism for coupling a proximal end of the control spring to either the carrier for advancing it for needle insertion or to the chassis, wherein the needle insertion control mechanism comprises a first collar biased by the control spring in a proximal direction (P), wherein at least one fifth clip is arranged on one of the chassis or the first collar initially abutting a block on the other of the chassis or the first collar.

Auto-injector

The invention relates to an auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament, comprising: an elongate tubular case, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged inside the case, the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier, wherein the drive spring acts between the carrier and the plunger,
wherein the plunger in an initial state is locked to the carrier by a ramped engagement to the carrier and by being prevented from rotating out of this ramped engagement depending on a relative longitudinal position of the carrier in the case, wherein the plunger is arranged to be released for rotating out of the ramped engagement upon the needle reaching at least nearly a predefined injection depth on translation of the carrier in the proximal direction for advancing the needle beyond a proximal end of the auto-injector.

Auto-injector

The invention relates to an auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament, comprising: an elongate case arranged to be held by a user, a tubular chassis telescopable in the case and biased against the case so as to protrude from the case, a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, a trigger button which is initially abutted against the case thus preventing actuation,
wherein the chassis is arranged to translate into the case against the bias when pressed against an injection site, wherein the trigger button is at least initially coupled to the chassis in such a manner that the trigger button emerges from the case when the chassis is being pressed against the injection site so as to allow actuation by being translated towards the case for starting an injection cycle.

Filler piece mounting assembly for lifting column and lifting column

Disclosed is a filler piece mounting assembly for a lifting column. The lifting column includes a first casing and a second casing sliding in the first casing. The filler piece mounting assembly includes a resilient filler piece and a fixed frame for fixing the resilient filler piece. The resilient filler piece is disposed outside an outer wall of the second casing and axially fixed relative to the first casing. The fixed frame is disposed at a front end of the first casing and moves relative to the first casing. A first inclined surface is disposed on an outside of the resilient filler piece. The fixed frame includes an extrusion part for extruding the first inclined surface, and the extrusion part extrudes the first inclined surface to radially deform the resilient filler piece to adjust a clearance between the resilient filler piece and the second casing.
