Exercise machine and method for use in a supine position

An exercise machine has a mobile base and an upright support extending upwards from the mobile base. An upper support assembly extends forward from an upper portion of the upright support and an exercise device is suspended from the upper support assembly at a location spaced forward from the upright support. The mobile base has caster wheels and can be positioned from either side of a bed so as to extend partially under a bed with the upright support located on one side of the bed and the exercise device suspended over the bed in a position accessible by a patient lying supine in the bed for performing exercise. An anchoring system resists movement of the base for stability when exercise is performed.

RECUMBENT THERAPEUTIC AND EXERCISE DEVICE

Various embodiments related to a recumbent therapeutic and exercise device are provided herein. The recumbent therapeutic and exercise device includes a frame; a hand crank system coupled to the frame, the hand crank system including a hand crank rotatable by a user, wherein the hand crank is movable in a substantially vertical plane closer to and further from a support surface for the frame; and a foot crank system coupled to the frame, the foot crank system including a foot crank rotatable by the user, wherein the foot crank is movable in a substantially horizontal plane relative to the support surface for the fame.

A collapsible cycling exerciser is an apparatus that effectively exercises a user through full ranges of motion and varied resistance. The apparatus includes a first support post, a second support post, a left handlebar, a right handlebar, a left pedaling mechanism, a right pedaling mechanism, and a torsional resistance mechanism. The first support post and the second support post, together, upholds and positions the user. The left handlebar and the right handlebar guide the linear movement of the arms. The left pedaling mechanism and the right pedaling mechanism guide the rotary movement of the legs. The torsional resistance mechanism applies resistance to the left handlebar, the right handlebar, the left pedaling mechanism, and the right pedaling mechanism. In the preferred embodiment of the apparatus, a hinged connection secures the first support post and the second support post to each other so that the apparatus is collapsible.

Method and system for implementing dynamic treatment environments based on patient information

A system that comprises a memory device storing instructions, and a processing device communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processing device executes the instructions to: receive user data obtained from records associated with a user; generate a modified treatment plan based on the user data; and send, to a treatment apparatus accessible to the user, the modified treatment plan, wherein the modified treatment plan causes the treatment apparatus to update at least one operational aspect of the treatment apparatus, and update at least one operational aspect of at least one other device communicatively coupled to the treatment apparatus.

There is a first and second set of right and left dual link members. The first set of right and left link members connected with an axis, axle in a frame. The second set of right and left link members connected with the first set of left and right link members and these connections are located radial from the axis axle in the frame. These connections between the first and second link members of the right and left side are configured at 180 degrees relative to each other. Foot supports connected with the second set of crank arms and located longitudinal from the connection in-between the first and second crank arms. The second set of crank arms may swing, rotate move one way forward as the first set of crank arms rotates forward 360 degrees allowing the user a more natural moving style and running motion, defined as run-cycling.
