SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE
A rehabilitation and exercise system can include a base. A static device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide isometric exercise for a user by receiving static force from the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis or muscle hypertrophy for the user. In addition, a dynamic device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide a dynamic exercise for the user by being moved by the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis and muscle hypertrophy for the user.
Virtual Steering Apparatus
The present disclosure regards a steering apparatus for an exercise bike comprising: a connection part adapted to be secured to the exercise bike, and a holding part connected to the connection part and configured for holding an electronic sensor unit, such as a smartphone, wherein the steering apparatus is configured to have a steady state configuration where the connection part and the holding part define a first orientation relative to each other, and a steering configuration wherein an external force applied to the holding part rotates the holding part relative to the connection part defining a rotation axis of the steering apparatus.
CURVE SIMULATION DEVICE FOR A BICYCLE ERGOMETER
A curve simulation apparatus device for a bicycle ergometer comprising: a base part with a curved support surface for laterally tiltable support on a floor, the contact area of the base part comprises a curved middle section with a first radius of curvature and a curved tilting section with a second curvature radius and laterally adjoining the curved middle section, the second radius of curvature of the curved tilting section being smaller than the first radius of curvature of the curved middle section.
Multi-function Exercise Machine and Bench
An exercise machine suitable for exercising a person's muscles contains a frame (100), a seat (102) situated over the frame, a seatback (104 or 104U), a connection mechanism (106 or 106U) for flexibly and adjustably connecting the seatback to the frame or/and the seat, and a pedaling mechanism (114 or 220) connectable to the frame and having a pair of movable pedals (140 or 224). The seatback is typically capable of swiveling. The pedals can revolve or translate back and forth. Another exercise machine contains a handle-translating mechanism (220) having a pair of handles (274) that translate back and forth. The frame, seat, seatback, and connection mechanism typically in combination with one or more pairs of handles (108, 110, 240, 242, and 252) form an exercise bench.
RUNNING TRAINING MACHINE WITH THE VIRTUAL REALITY SYSTEM AND ITS MODE OF WORK
Disclosed is training equipment made for developing and strengthening muscles or joints with exercises to overcome the opposing force with or without measuring instruments; also person's movements in a virtual reality modeling system. The invention is a complex which consists of an originally constructed running training machine adapted to the current task and having two degrees of freedom at least, hardware and software equipment realizing the functions of user's positioning by controlling both the movement of the treadmill track and the slopes of the treadmill, depending on the terrain of the virtual underlying surface. Positioning system can be built using different sensors and feedback channels. Terrain reading from a virtual model is based on a computing device generating data arrays from the underlying surface elevation field, which can be built, for example, based on photogrammetry data and providing visualization of a three-dimensional model of the world, for example, through virtual reality glasses.
VIRTUAL ROAD SURFACE IMPLEMENTATION-TYPE BICYCLE SIMULATOR
Provided is a virtual road surface implementation-type bicycle simulator. The virtual road surface implementation-type bicycle simulator according to the present disclosure includes a rear wheel support portion that supports a rear wheel of a mounted bicycle and rotates together with rotation of the rear wheel; and a road surface implementation portion including a plurality of uneven portions that perform a protrusion operation at various heights on an outer peripheral surface of the rear wheel support portion in contact with the rear wheel, thereby providing a rider riding the bicycle with various road surface states which are virtually set.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An improved exercise equipment including a stationary exercise apparatus, a lever arm pivotably biased about a pivot axis, and a support for supporting the lever arm above the stationary exercise apparatus. The pivot axis extends substantially in a vertical direction. The stationary exercise apparatus is of a type to cause the legs of a user to scissor as the user operates the stationary exercise apparatus. In an exemplary embodiment, the stationary exercise apparatus is one of a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, and a stair climber.
MOVABLY SUPPORTED EXERCISE DEVICE
An item of exercise equipment with a movable support that is movable in a fore-aft direction and simultaneously movable laterally, e.g. about a tilt axis. The exercise equipment may be a cycle mounted to a base. A roller and track arrangement may be provided between the cycle and base, to provide movement of the cycle in the axial direction and in a tilt direction relative to the base. The roller and track arrangement may be one or more curved roller and track engagement surfaces that extend in the axial direction and provide a gravity bias of the platform toward an axial neutral position. The cycle and base include a tilt biasing arrangement for biasing the cycle toward a tilt neutral position relative to the base.
Workout apparatus for simulating user movement patterns in bicycle sports
A workout apparatus for use by a user to simulate core movement patterns of bike riding is provided. The workout apparatus includes a base deck, a pair of tubular members coupled to the base deck and in contact with the ground, each tubular member having a convex surface in contact with the ground surface, a frame assembly pivotably mounted to the base deck, a handle bar coupled to the frame assembly, and a pair of hydraulic damper units coupled to the frame assembly and base deck. The user on the base deck grabs the handle bar to perform a pushing or pulling motion, thereby enabling the first hydraulic damper unit or second hydraulic damper unit to provide resistance to movement of the frame assembly.
BICYCLE TRAINER PERMITTING STEERING AND TILTING MOTION
A bicycle trainer, including a base, permitting fore and aft movement and a frame, supported by the base. Also, a seat and a handlebar assembly and a pedaling assembly is supported by the frame. The handlebar assembly is rotatably engaged to the frame, and is supported by a tongue, that is hinged to the base so as to permit horizontal rotation, and the handlebar assembly is attached to the tongue at a position removed from the hinge. Turning the handlebars causes the frame to move laterally.
