Provided is a steel sheet for a hot press formed member having excellent painting adhesion and post-painting corrosion resistance, and a method for manufacturing the same. A steel sheet for hot press forming according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a base steel sheet and a plated layer formed on a surface of the base steel sheet, wherein the ratio of an area occupied by pores to the entire area of a surface layer portion may be 10% or more in a cross section of the surface layer portion observed when the plated layer is cut in a thickness direction thereof.

The present disclosure relates to an aluminum-based plated steel that is provided for vehicles by hot forming, an aluminum-based alloy plated steel manufactured using the same, and method of manufacturing thereof.

A coating system for a surface of a superalloy component is provided. The coating system includes a MCrAlY coating on the surface of the superalloy component, where M is Ni, Fe, Co, or a combination thereof. The MCrAlY coating generally has a higher chromium content than the superalloy component. The MCrAlY coating also includes a platinum-group metal aluminide diffusion layer. The MCrAlY coating includes Re, Ta, or a mixture thereof. Methods are also provided for forming a coating system on a surface of a superalloy component.

Provided are a high-strength galvanized steel sheet having excellent delayed fracture resistance by reducing the diffusible hydrogen content in the steel and a method for producing the same. The high-strength galvanized steel sheet includes a steel sheet having a prescribed composition and a microstructure including martensite and tempered martensite, the total area fraction of the martensite and the tempered martensite being 30% or more, and a galvanizing layer formed on the surface of the steel sheet. The diffusible hydrogen content in the high-strength galvanized steel sheet is 0.50 wt. ppm or less. The half-width of the hydrogen release peak of the high-strength galvanized steel sheet is 70° C. or less. The diffusible hydrogen content and the half-width of the hydrogen release peak are determined by a prescribed analysis method.

Disclosed is a steel sheet for hot press forming, which includes: a base steel sheet; and a plating layer disposed on the base steel sheet and including a diffusion layer and a surface layer that are sequentially laminated, wherein the diffusion layer includes an Fe—Al alloy layer and an Fe—Al intermetallic compound layer that are sequentially disposed on the base steel sheet and each include silicon, and an area fraction of the Fe—Al intermetallic compound layer with respect to the diffusion layer is 84.5% to 98.0%.

A steel strip having a metal coating on at least one surface of the strip is disclosed. The strip is characterised in that the coating includes aluminium-zinc-silicon alloy that contains magnesium and the coating has small size spangles.

A pre-coated steel strip is provided. The steel strip includes a strip of base steel having a length, a width, a first side, and a second side. An aluminum or an aluminum alloy pre-coating is on at least part of at least one of the first or second sides of the strip of base steel. Provided is a plated steel sheet having an excellent quality with fine and even plating texture, the plated steel sheet including a base steel sheet and a Zn plating layer formed on the base steel sheet, wherein a Zn crystal in the plating layer has a size of 5 μm or less.
