In one aspect, an exercise apparatus is provided, the apparatus comprising: an exercise engagement portion comprising two vertical members and two or more horizontal members extending between the two vertical members, wherein the two or more horizontal members include longitudinal ends and wherein the longitudinal ends are connected to the two vertical members, wherein the two or more horizontal members include a plurality of horizontal member holes, and wherein the two vertical members include a plurality of vertical member holes; a base portion including two ballast containers, each of the ballast containers including: a vertical member base having a channel, and one or more compartment for containing a ballast; and wherein each of the two vertical members extends into the channel of the vertical member base such that the vertical member base maintains the vertical member in a vertical position.

The described device demonstrates an apparatus and method for a collapsible wheeled walker or rollator that includes a pair of height adjustable armrests or supports. The armrests may be selectively articulated about hinge or pivot attached to a support tube. The articulating armrest may be locked into a stationary position via a locking pin for use as a typical standing rollator. Alternatively, the armrests are articulable about a hinge when the locking pin is removed, where a damper is interconnected between the hinge and a handle tube attached to the armrests to provide resistance to the movement of the armrests allowing a user to exercise arm muscles while using the wheeled walker. As such the disclosed device operates as both a wheeled walker and an exercise mechanism for the user's arms and upper body.

An exercise device for seated exercising and heat therapy includes a chair, to which a plurality of biasers is operationally engaged. A pair of footrests and a pair of handrests are operationally engaged to the chair. Each footrest and each handrest is engageable to an associated foot and an associated hand of the user, respectively. The footrest is operationally engaged to a respective biaser so that the respective biaser is positioned to resist movement of the footrest relative to the chair. The handrest is operationally engaged to a respective biaser so that the respective biaser is positioned to resist movement of the handrest relative to the chair. The footrests and the handrests thus are useful in exercising feet and hands of the user, respectively. A plurality of heating elements, which is engaged to the chair, the footrests, and the handrests, can warm an abdomen and joints of the user.

A physical training system includes a belt for fixing around the waist of a person and that includes a plurality of belt extension straps each adapted for fixing with the belt at any location therearound and preferably adjustable in length. Two shoes are adapted for wearing on the person's feet, each shoe including at least four attachment loops at opposing quadrants of the shoe and optional shoe extension straps. A plurality of elastomeric bands are selectively fixable between any of the belt extensions straps and the attachment loops or shoe extension straps of the shoes. A shoulder harness comprising two straps is included for attachment to and positioning of the belt. As such, in use, the person while running experiences resistance as each leg extends into a fully extended position, and a reduction or cessation of resistance as each leg retracts into a non-extended position.

An exercise system includes a base module having a seat with a seat depth, and a vertically adjustable back configured to fixedly engage with the base module at a first seat depth and a second seat depth different from the first seat depth.

The present disclosure provides a portable anchor system comprised of a modular and foldable frame structure which folds down to a compact shape having a storage compartment with a pair of wheels. When unfolded for use, the anchor system is shaped such that a user's weight always provides a counterbalance to forces exerted during exercise, removing the need for added weight or a structure to affix the anchor system to. The standalone apparatus provides a wide variety of horizontal, vertical, and ground level anchor points and has horizontal bars which can be mounted at different vertical heights to suit a user's needs for various exercises. The storage compartment is used to store exercise apparatus as well as pieces for the portable anchor system. A kit is also provided herein, the kit comprising the anchor system, a novel resistance band apparatus, and one or more items capable of being stored within the storage compartment.

A holding device for using gym equipment for the purpose of muscle building training. The holding device has a handle part and a bracket, and the hand of a person using the holding device can be inserted between the handle part and the bracket. The hand side of the handle part is convexly curved with the exception of local depressions and/or perforations, and parts for releasably securing a dumbbell plate can be releasably secured to the lower face of the handle part. The hand side of the handle part has four groove-shaped depressions which are dimensioned and spaced from one another such when using the holding device as intended with a hand placed on the hand side, each finger is positioned in a respective depression of the groove-shaped depressions with the exception of the thumb.

An exercise system includes a main apparatus that is convertible between an exercise bench and an exercise box.
