EXERCISE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A workout device that allows for at home Nordic hamstring curls using a. doorframe or other immovable object is disclosed.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes a mounting assembly and a pulley assembly coupled to the mounting assembly. The pulley assembly includes a first pulley and a second pulley. At least one pulley cable is positioned about the first pulley and the second pulley for movement relative thereto. A body engaging assembly is provided for attachment with the at least one pulley cable.
Aqua Exercise Equipment
An aqua resistance dumbbell comprises a tubular wall that provides a bore for receiving a user's hand from each end of the bell. A rod is located within the bore and extending laterally across the bore to be gripped by a user with one or both hands from one or both ends of the bore. The dumbbell has a plurality of longitudinal fins extend along the tubular wall on an outer side of the tubular wall, and at least one lateral fin that extends laterally at least part way around the tubular wall. An aqua resistance fin assembly comprises two fin components and at least one fastening member for fitting the fin components to a user's limb in a side-by-side configuration around the limb. Each fin component comprises a base adapted to fit against a user's limb and adapted to be secured to the user's limb by the fastening member, and at least two longitudinal fins and at least one lateral fin on an outer side of the base.
Compact smart phone enabled system for strength and endurance training
This invention is a portable exercise system capable of performing multiple exercises for strength and endurance training. The key component is the force generation unit (FGU) which is small and light enough to be suspended during the exercise yet capable of producing a force of 50 lbs. The FGU is programmable allowing it to generate various force vs distance, time or velocity profiles. Different handles, cables and attachments can be connected or used with the FGU perform different exercises. The FGU can charge its battery from the user's energy during use. The FGU can communicate bidirectionally with computers and smart phones for setup and to track the user's performance. Multiple FGUs may be used simultaneously each performing a separate function. The entire system is small enough to fit in a drawer or suitcase. The accompanying software can track the user's performance and function as an automated personal trainer.
EXERCISE MACHINE
The present disclosure relates to an exercise machine for performing a gymnastic exercise, comprising a first exercise device, in turn comprising at least one first cable, and at least one first handle, coupled to said first cable, to allow a user to perform a gymnastic exercise, and a second exercise device, in turn comprising at least one second cable, and at least one second handle, coupled to said second cable, to allow the user to perform a gymnastic exercise, said exercise machine further comprises a first actuator, connected to said first cable, for exerting a drive or resistant torque on said first cable, a second actuator, connected to said second cable, for exerting a drive or resistant torque on said second cable, and a logic control unit, connected to said first actuator and said second actuator, for adjusting said drive or resistant torque.
HYBRID ADHESION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A hybrid adhesion system includes an adhesion head including at least one suction cup and a handle and a vacuum generator mechanically coupled to the adhesion head. The vacuum generator includes at least one pneumatic cylinder having an internal volume in fluid communication with the at least one suction cup and a piston having a piston rod mechanically coupled to a manual actuator.
ADJUSTABLE REFORMER
An adjustable reformer for exercising is provided. The reformer includes a frame, a carriage slidably mounted to the horizontal frame, and at least one resistance element connected to the carriage. A cord connects the carriage to at least one lower guide and at least one upper guide. Pulling the cord causes movement of the carriage along the frame against resistance provided by the resistance element. The guides can be height adjustable. The reformer can include a cord retraction system. Related methods of exercise are also provided.
Resistance Type Exercise Device for Conditioning
An exercise device accommodating leg thrust exercises is shown and described. The device provides a flat, nominally planar base or frame on which are mounted two slide members riding in parallel, linear tracks. Each slide is coupled to the frame by an elastic tether. A hand grip bar spans right and left sides of the frame at one end thereof. In use, a person grasps the hand grip bar, and places each foot on one of the slide members. The user then pushes with either one leg or alternatively, with both legs, against the resistance of the elastic tether.
PORTABLE RESISTANCE-BASED EXERCISE MACHINE AND SYSTEM
An exercise system that may be rail-less, frameless, and/or portable is described. The exercise system includes a carriage having a plurality of wheels and a stationary platform. The stationary platform is independent of and separate from the carriage, and the stationary platform is freestanding. At least one tension member having a first end is attached to the carriage and a second end is detachably attached to the platform such that the carriage is movable on a horizontal plane parallel to a ground surface while the stationary platform remains in a fixed position.
Devices and method for increasing running performance
A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.
