SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING AN EXERCISE MACHINE TO IMPROVE COMPLETION OF AN EXERCISE
A system and method for improving completion of an exercise is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of a control system to improve compliance with an exercise plan for an exercise machine includes receiving one or more load measurements from one or more load cells of the exercise machine. The method also includes comparing the one or more load measurements to one or more target thresholds, and determining whether the one or more load measurements exceed the one or more target thresholds. Responsive to determining that the one or more load measurements exceed the one or more target thresholds, the method also includes causing a user interface to present an indication that the one or more target thresholds have been exceeded and an exercise is complete, wherein the exercise is included in the exercise plan.

The invention relates to a power training apparatus (10) with a manually actuatable operating element (30) which is coupled via a lever mechanism (20) to at least one unit (39, 41, 42) generating a resistance, wherein the lever mechanism (20) has, at a distance from a grip element (32) of the operating element (30), at least one first joint (26) which is mounted in a first axle (21) via at least one first joint lever (25), and having at least one second joint (35) which is arranged between the at least one first joint (26) and the grip element (32), wherein the at least one second joint (35) is mounted at least indirectly in a second axle (22) via at least one second joint lever (36), wherein one of the axles (21, 22) is operatively connected to the at least one unit (39, 41, 42), and wherein the other of the two axles (21, 22) is blocked or is pivotable about a small angle.
Resistance mechanism in a cable exercise machine
A cable exercise machine includes a first pull cable and a second pull cable incorporated into a frame. Each of the first pull cable and the second pull cable are linked to at least one resistance mechanism. The at least one resistance mechanism includes a flywheel and a magnetic unit arranged to resist movement of the flywheel.
Exercise machine
The present invention relates to a multi-gym machine which enables a user to perform a plurality of different exercises for the whole body. More specifically the present invention relates specifically to a power tower machine in which the user utilizes a combination of the user body weight (calisthenics) in addition to variable elastic bands to provide additional assistance or resistance. This advanced power tower hereby disclosed incorporates an arrangement of multiple handles, various pulleys, elastic cables and steel wire connected to a special waist belt to be put on by the user. The elastic cables depending on their anchor points either from the top or the bottom pulley, generates assistance or resistance to the user respectively for the specific workout. A set of sensors, processor and Bluetooth transmission unit is integrated on the power tower to process, transmit, process and manage several workouts performance indicators via a dedicated mobile application offering a virtual coaching capabilities. Also with internet connection, the mobile application offers an IoT (Internet of Things) concept enable virtual competition with other users using the same machine and mobile application.
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING EQUIPMENT WITH MULTIPLE MOVEMENT PLANES FOR BACK EXERCISES
A back exercise machine includes: a resistance element; a user support; a first movement element, the first movement element having: a column; and a first connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a first axis associated with the first connecting element, wherein the first connecting element is movably coupled to the column such that the first connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the column; and a second movement element, the second movement element having: a rail; and a second connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a second axis associated with the second connecting element, wherein the second connecting element is movably coupled to the rail such that the second connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the rail.
Space-Saving Exercise Equipment
The invention concerns exercise apparatus having a weight source (18) operably connected to a plurality of manual actuators (28, 32) by a cable and pulley system. The cable and pulley system (12) has a plurality of pulley wheels (16), a supporting frame (10) for the weight source (18) and pulley wheels (16), and a cable (22) defining a force path from the weight source (18) over the pulley wheels (16). The pulley wheels (16) and frame (10) are provided in a common plane with the weight source (18) at least when the exercise apparatus is not in use. The manual actuators (28, 32) are provided at spaced locations along the path defined by the cable (22) and are actuatable in a direction away from the common plane when in use. The frame (10) may supported in an upright orientation for use by a support structure, e.g. a wall, and may occupy a minimal space/depth.
Tread belt locking mechanism
A treadmill may include a deck, a first pulley disposed in a first portion of the deck, a second pulley disposed in a second portion of the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, and a locking mechanism that selectively prevents the tread belt from moving.
Athletic training platform exercise device
A multi-purpose athletic training platform exercise device is provided. A user may stand atop a platform and exercise while connected to a downward pulling source of resistance. This machine allows the user to walk forwards, backwards and side-to-side freely while still having attachment to the resistance source via a connecting means. This will activate all the muscles in the lower body while tractioning the lower back and helping to reduce pelvic tilt. The resistance may be varied during the user effort. The user is able to step off the machine to climb up or down a step, or walk up and down a ramp that may be provided.
TRANSLATING CARRIAGE EXERCISE MACHINES AND METHODS OF USE
A translatable carriage exercise machine comprising first and second spaced elongate side rails. A moveable carriage translatable along the side rails. An upper support surface on the carriage sized to support the entire posterior trunk of an adult human in supine. A plurality of elastic tension members secured to a bottom of the moveable carriage and fixable to a plurality of spring anchors. An upright footbar positioned at a machine first end. A pair of carriage pulleys fixed at a second end of the exercise apparatus with carriage ropes adjustably fixed to the moveable carriage each looped around respective carriage pulleys. A rotational resistance mechanism comprising an elongate resistance band having an extended configuration and a retracted configuration.
