Parallel Cable Exercise Device
A cable-based exercise system. A chassis is provided to house the actuators. A force plate sits on top of this chassis. A bar configured for gripping by a user is provided. The bar has a first end and a second end. Two or more cables are connected to each end of the bar. Each cable connects an end of the bar to a drive motor. Each drive motor can be independently controlled. A central processor is preferably provided to receive sensory inputs and control the drive motors.
Weightlifting rack assembly and wall mount bracket for a weightlifting rack assembly
A weightlifting rack assembly includes a first side mount bracket having a first base connected to a first mounting region of a wall mount bracket, a first support arm extending outward from the first base, and a first receiver connected to the first support arm, a second side mount bracket having a second base connected to a second mounting region of the wall mount bracket, a second support arm extending outward from the second base, and a second receiver connected to the second support arm, and a bar connected to the first side mount bracket and the second side mount bracket and extending between the side mount brackets in a direction along the lateral width of the wall mount bracket. The bar is received in the receivers to connect the bar to the side mount brackets, and the wall mount bracket suspends the rack assembly above a ground surface.
WEIGHT LIFTING BAR, METHOD OF MANUFACTURE, AND METHOD OF USE
A weight lifting bar having a pair of ends for receiving weighted plates, a bent central portion which is intended to be placed about the user's upper back, and a pair of arced members affixed to the central portion of the bar, each arced member intended for placement about one of the user's shoulders, and each terminating into a handle grip. Pads may or may not be placed on the arced members and the central portion. The weight lifting bar places the load onto the user's upper back and shoulders for optimal weight lifting performance and form.
ATTACHMENT APPARATUSES FOR SQUAT EXERCISES AND METHODS OF USING SAME
An exercise apparatus for attachment to an exercise rack including an arm, including: at least one mounting prong connected to the arm; and, a stand including a pivot point, wherein the pivot point defines a pivot axis substantially transverse to a longitudinal axis of the arm, and wherein the stand is configured in a first, vertical configuration when the apparatus is at rest and a second, largely horizontal configuration when the apparatus is in motion, and wherein the stand is rotatable with respect to the arm about the pivot axis to transition the stand from the first configuration to the second configuration.
Squat and spinal fitness and rehabilitation device
Embodiments of an exercise device for squat training are disclosed. The exercise devices disclosed herein provide users a stable lower extremity base to help assure good motor function of the squat exercise to improve efficient flexibility, coordination, strength, and endurance development.
Exercise Machine
An exercise machine that incorporates the design of the Pilates reformer with more current pieces of exercise equipment and options for a more versatile workout.
Exercise device
An exercise device. The exercise device includes an elongated member with a pair of grooves disposed at opposing ends. A pair of tension screws are utilized to slidably secure a pair of clamps to opposing ends of the elongated member. The pair of clamps slidably adjust along the length of the elongated member by traveling along the grooves. The clamps secure the elongated member to an opening, such as a door frame. The elongated member further includes a pair of recessed portions. The recessed portions are configured to curve around a soleus portion of a user's legs. A pair of straps affixed to opposing ends of each recessed portion removably secure about a front of the user's legs. In one embodiment, the elongated member is hingedly divided into two parts, wherein each part includes a clamp slidably secured thereto and a recessed portion, thereby providing a storage configuration.
Free weight belt squat machine
The present invention is a free weight belt squat machine that allows a free, unencumbered raising and lowering of variable resistance by a user. A belt which is directly attached to the horizontal free weight bar holds standard Olympic plates and may be raised or lowered, directly in free space, by the user. Thus, the natural and optimal movement pattern of a straight line over the user's center of gravity may be fully and completely realized. This machine provides a control arm to safely and effectively engage and disengage the resistance from the machine to the user and then back to the machine. This machine further provides an adjustable stopper mechanism for the safety of the user and to limit or expand the range of the exercise to cause the desired adaptations in muscular strength and size.
JOINT EXTENSION METHOD AND EXERCISE SYSTEM
A joint extension system that embodies a method of exercise that applies progressive accommodating resistance to joint extension during closed-chain movement.
Transformable Exercise Apparatus
A transformable exercise apparatus is disclosed. The exercise apparatus includes base arms parallel to each other, front legs and rear legs extending from the base arms. The exercise apparatus includes top arms, each connecting respective front and rear leg of each base arm. The exercise apparatus presents telescopic members stored in the front legs. The exercise apparatus includes a first table top and a second table top. The second table top includes collapsible legs. The collapsible legs fold and allow for placing the second table top and the first table top over the top arms, thereby transforming the exercise apparatus into a furniture. The second table top demounts and transforms into a workbench. The telescopic members extend and include a pull-up bar at the top, transforming the exercise apparatus into a pull up exercise apparatus. The apparatus may transfer into a leg press and arm press.
