20190118023 · 2019-04-25 ·

An exercise assembly for resistance exercises includes a base that is configured to position on a horizontal surface. A post is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from the base. A beam is rotationally coupled to and extends bidirectionally from the post. A first plate is coupled to and centrally positioned above the post. The first plate is padded and configured to seat a user. Each of a pair of rods is slidably coupled to and extends bidirectionally from the beam between the first plate and a respective opposing end of the beam. The rods are configured to selectively couple to the hands and feet of the user. A plurality of bands, which is resilient, is selectively couplable to and extends between the rods and the first plate. The bands are configured to selectively resist movement of the rods along the beam.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO INDEPENDENTLY ADJUST RESISTANCE OF PEDALS BASED ON LEG STRENGTH

A method is disclosed for using an artificial intelligence engine to modify resistance of pedals of an exercise device. The method includes generating, by the artificial intelligence engine, a machine learning model trained to receive measurements as input, and outputting, based on the measurements, a control instruction that causes the exercise device to modify, independently from each other, the resistance of the pedals. While a user performs an exercise using the exercise device, the method includes receiving the measurements from sensors associated with the pedals. The method includes determining, based on the measurements, a quantifiable or qualitative modification to the resistance provided by a pedal of the pedals. The resistance provided by another pedal of the pedals is not modified. The method includes transmitting the control instruction to the exercise device to cause the resistance provided by the pedal to be modified.

GLUTEUS MAXIMUS POWER PUSH APPARATUS

A power push exercise apparatus comprises a frame assembly to house a weight system of selectable stacked weights. A foot assembly is provided in a workout space, such that a user may provide a downward force on the foot assembly to engage the weight system and perform exercises targeting the gluteus maximus.

LEG PRESS MACHINE WITH A WEIGHT PLATE TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR REDUCING EXERCISE RESISTANCE WHILE REMAINING SEATED
20190070449 · 2019-03-07 ·

A leg press machine with a weight plate transfer mechanism to reduce exercise resistance while remaining seated on the machine. Weight plates are movably supported within a sliding housing, rather than being received on a pair of side pegs, as in conventional leg press machines. One of the weight plates can be pushed to roll from the sliding housing to a storage housing by the exerciser using a weight transfer actuator, allowing the exerciser to reduce the exercise resistance conveniently while remaining seated. The storage housing is positioned with an open side facing an open side of the sliding housing so as to receive the weight plate pushed and rolled from the sliding housing. Additionally, by positioning the storage housing at substantially the same height as the sliding housing, the exerciser can easily roll one or more weight plates between the two housings so as to reduce the exercise resistance.

Exercise and Rehabilitation Machine with Autonomous Drive

The machine of the present invention can have frame that supports an I-beam in either a vertical or horizontal manner. The I-beam can support a mounting plate and gear racks. A gear box housing is movable with respect to the I-beam under operation of a motor that turns a shaft so that pinion gears engage the gear racks to translate relative to the gear racks. A pivot assembly is fixed with respect to the gear box so that when force is applied to the carriage, it causes a change in torque loading in the gear box that is measurable by a force gauge mounted between the pivot assembly and the gear box housing. The motor is controlled by a controller to be operable to move the carriage and user engagement components carried by the carriage, such as a foot plate and/or manually grasped handles, so as to require user exertion to resist such movement.

PHYSICAL THERAPY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE

An apparatus and method for physical therapy is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base structure, a roller table positioned on the base structure including an outer frame and a plurality of free motion rollers, at least one motor connected to the base structure, a plurality of powered rollers located within the base structure being in contact with the plurality of free motion rollers and connected to the at least one motor, a lifting mechanism located within the base structure and connected to the at least one motor and being configured to raise and lower the roller table to transition the apparatus between a first mode and a second mode, a load cell in communication with the apparatus being configured to measure and record a patient's response to the transition of the roller table from the first mode to the second mode, and a programmable logic controller in communication with the at least one motor and the load cell being configured to control the transition of the apparatus between the first mode and the second mode.

System and Method for Networking Fitness Machines

A system and method for networking fitness machines for allowing a fitness trainer or instructor to control various settings for a plurality of exercise machines simultaneously, and further for allowing an individual user and/or trainer to modify the settings of an individual exercise machine. The system and method for networking fitness machines generally includes a trainer remote control device, one or more machine-mounted onboard trainer controllers, and a machine-mounted onboard user controller. The trainer remote control device may be securely mounted to the arm of a trainer so that the trainer's hands remain free to instruct exercisers. The trainer remote control device includes a touch screen that displays selections corresponding to various settings on the exercise machines, such as tilt and roll, elevation, resistance level, and body positioning light indicia. The trainer remote control communicates with the plurality of exercise machines via a wireless network or Bluetooth connection allowing the trainer to change the settings of a plurality of exercise machines in a class mode simultaneously. The machine-mounted onboard trainer controllers and user controller provide the ability for the trainer or an exerciser to change the settings of an individual machine either during class in a class mode or in a private training mode.

EXERCISE MACHINES FOR WEIGHT TRAINING
20240293696 · 2024-09-05 · ·

An exercise machine comprising a resistance mechanism, a supporting frame, and a movable member which is movable relative to the supporting frame into and between a rest position and an extended position during performance of an exercise motion by a user. Movement of the movable member towards the extended position is resisted by the resistance mechanism. A stop device stops the movable member in the rest position, the stop device having an engagement member which engages and is able to translate along a stop surface on the supporting frame when the movable member is moved into the rest position.
