A ground-effect footplate against which a user applies plantar force and moves their foot in 3D across all seven lower-extremity biomechanical axes to accomplish specific as well as global ambulatory objectives related to lower extremity performance improvement, injury prevention and rehabilitation. A device comprising at least one articulating leg connected to a ground-effect footplate and a surface for a user to position against. The device can be used in conjunction with software to create virtual ambulatory environments that mimic GRFVs and cause moments of force that initiate muscular activations that substantially mimic human ambulation, and can couple those movements with non-functional movements in order to improve ROM, speed, strength, and proprioception.
Glute machine
A weight resistance training machine is provided that is used to exercise the glute muscles of a user. The weight resistance training machine includes a carriage member that a user may mount to use the training machine. The carriage member may be mounted on a track system that allows the carriage member to translate linearly when the weight training machine is used. When a foot press bar connected to the carriage member is extended, the carriage member is linear translated by a cable and pulley system to increase the muscle path length during exercise and increase the exercise's efficacy.

Reciprocating transmission structure of exercise machine
A reciprocating transmission structure of an exercise machine, mounted to a frame of the exercise machine, includes a first reciprocating member, a second reciprocating member, a main rotating wheel, a first link, a second link, and a resistance wheel. The first reciprocating member reciprocally moves with a first reciprocating pivot portion as its axis. The second reciprocating member reciprocally moves with a second reciprocating pivot portion as its axis. The first link and the second link drive the main rotating wheel to rotate with a rotating shaft as its axis. The main rotating wheel drives the resistance wheel to rotate. After the first reciprocating member and the second reciprocating member move reciprocally, the resistance wheel can be driven to rotate by the cooperation of various components. The exercise machine is suitable for performing exercises related to reciprocating movement, and the operation is easier.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE
A rehabilitation and exercise system can include a base. A static device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide isometric exercise for a user by receiving static force from the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis or muscle hypertrophy for the user. In addition, a dynamic device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide a dynamic exercise for the user by being moved by the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis and muscle hypertrophy for the user.
Leg press with adjustable resistance ratio
An exercise machine for performing a leg press exercise includes a resistance device and a plate configured to receive a user's feet during the leg press exercise. An adjustable resistance attachment device is mechanically coupled to the plate and is be selectively coupled to an adjustable resistance attachment device. One or more cables mechanically couple the adjustable resistance device to the resistance device to define a resistance ratio. Attachment of the adjustable resistance device to the adjustable resistance attachment device results in an increase of the resistance ratio for the machine.

A leg press exercise machine, including: a main frame with first and second rotating bars connected thereto; a support assembly connected to each of the first and second rotating bars, wherein rotation of the first and second rotating bars causes the support assembly to move with respect to the main frame; a seat support bar; and a seat mounted onto the seat support bar, wherein the support assembly holds the seat support bar at a downward angle and wherein the rotating bars are disposed at an angle from 0 to 30 or about 20 degrees to the vertical when the machine is in its rest position.

A sports training device includes a stand, pivot axis, elements for a person training to apply force, and load device for creating an adjustable load. The elements for a person training to apply force are installed, relative to the load device, at a given height from the support surface in accordance with the direction of force from the person training and in accordance with the group of muscles receiving the load.

A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.
