Exercising assisting and support assembly
An exercising assisting and support assembly includes a body having a bottom surface, a top surface, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a first end and a second end. The body is elongated from the first end to the second end and a cross-section of the body has a trapezoidal shape. The body has a length from the first end to the second end is between 24.0 inches and 48.0 inches and a height from the bottom surface to the top surface being at least 12.0 inches and less than 16.0 inches. The bottom surface has a width from the first lateral side to the second lateral side between 16.0 inches and 20.0 inches and the top surface has a width from the first lateral side to the second lateral side at least equal to 4.0 inches and no greater than 10.0 inches.
BALANCE TRAINING DEVICE
Balance training aids are disclosed. Example embodiments disclose a user placing all or part of their body weight on a top surface of a platform that is sitting atop an unstable base member and attempts to balance or complete a balance challenge. In example embodiments, the user places at least a portion of one foot atop the platform during the balance challenge. Adjustability features can be provided so as to provide a varying degree of adjustability to the unstable base member, and thus, provide a varying degree of balance challenges or levels of difficulty.
Plyometric Box
A plyometric box for includes a platform, a first pair of opposed sidewalls, and a second pair of opposed sidewalls. Each sidewall extends downwardly from the platform, and includes a first side, an opposed second side, a first pair of stacking ribs on an interior surface of the sidewall proximate the first side, and a second pair of stacking ribs on an interior surface of the sidewall proximate the second side. Each stacking rib extends downwardly from the platform along the sidewall and a bottom surface of each stacking rib is spaced upwardly from a bottom edge of the sidewall.
ANKLE BOX SYSTEM, RISER AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An ankle box system includes at least one ankle box and a riser. Each of the ankle boxes has an upper surface and a lower surface, and a plurality of projections extending from the lower surface, such as at the ends thereof. The riser has a bottom surface and a plurality of riser levels, each of the riser levels configured for selectively receiving one of the projections of at least one of the ends of an ankle box, at least two of the riser levels having an upper surface being disposed at different elevations from a bottom surface of the riser. The upper surfaces of the ankle boxes have a shape configured to enhance exercising the human ankle.
FLOOR-BASED EXERCISE MACHINE CONFIGURATIONS
An exercise system includes a platform and a frame. The platform includes a first vertically oriented motor and a second vertically oriented motor. The first vertically oriented motor is associated with a first cable and the second vertically oriented motor is associated with a second cable. The frame includes a first adjustable attachment point and a second adjustable attachment point. The first cable is coupled to the first adjustable attachment point and the second cable is coupled to the second adjustable attachment point. The platform is located at a bottom portion of the frame.
Physical activity devices
The disclosure features physical activity devices that include (a) a central footrest, configured to receive at least a portion of a foot of a user, (b) a plurality of elongated sleeves, each sleeve having an inner and an outer surface, and being configured to at least partially enclose an elongated tubular support member, and having spaced grooves in its outer surface extending generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve, and (c) at least two loops extending from the footrest, the loops being configured to be received by the grooves so that the sleeves support the footrest above a surface on which the tubular support members are positioned. The disclosure also features methods of using such devices.
INFLATABLE PLYOMETRIC BOX
An inflatable plyometric box having a first inflatable member adapted to be inflated to a pressure, a second inflatable member on top of the first inflatable member and adapted to be inflated to a pressure, and a connecting member connected to the first inflatable member and the second inflatable member which secures the first inflatable member to the second inflatable member. The first and second inflatable members incorporate drop stitch technology which provides substantial rigidity to first and second inflatable members when the first and second inflatable members are inflated to the pressures. Thus the inflatable plyometric box is substantially rigid to support a user landing on the top of the inflatable plyometric box. The inflatable plyometric box may include a stabilizing member which may be connected to the bottom of the inflatable plyometric box, wherein the stabilizing member is adapted to increase the stability of the inflatable plyometric box.
Step platform
A step platform for aerobic exercise may include multiple layers. The top layer may include an elastic foam member that is configured to at least partially deform when stepped on by a user. The middle layer may include a rigid support member that is configured to at least partially maintain the shape of the foam member. The foam member may include a cover that wraps around the foam member and at least a portion of the support member to fasten the support member to the foam member. The bottom layer may include a base member having a support ridge configured to at least partially restrict deformation of the foam member in at least one direction. The base member may be connectable to the support member.
Rectilinear polyhedron protective frame
A protective frame, comprising: a plurality of stripes comprising an elastic material; and configured to cooperate to define a plurality of openings; wherein the frame is configured to be positioned on the edges of a rectilinear polyhedron; and wherein the frame is deformable from a rest position to an operative position; and wherein, in the operative position, the stripes of the frame are configured to cover respective edges of the rectilinear polyhedron.
Multi-Mode Acceleration-Based Athleticism Measurement System
A multi-mode athleticism movement measurement system includes an athlete-borne acceleration sensor and an athleticism processing device to determine athleticism information based upon one or more timing measurements from the athlete-borne acceleration sensor, the athleticism information corresponding to any of multiple athleticism measurement modes available on athleticism processing device and selectable by a user. A data link between the athlete-borne acceleration sensor and the athleticism rating processing device transmits the one or more timing measurements from the athlete-borne acceleration sensor to the athleticism rating processing device.
