TOOL MAGAZINE OF MACHINE TOOL
The present disclosure relates to a tool magazine for a machine tool, and more particularly, to a tool magazine for a machine tool, wherein tool receiving units of a tool magazine are provided in multiple stages in a vertical turning center, such that a spindle head may easily change internal diameter machining tools and external diameter machining tools while moving in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes: a tool holder which includes a key groove; a spindle drive unit which includes a spindle key that can be fitted into the key groove of the tool holder and a spindle and which removably holds the tool holder; a tool exchanger which includes a grip key and a grip that holds the tool holder at a fixed position with respect to the spindle; and a numerical controller which controls the tool exchanger so as to fit and remove the tool holder with respect to the spindle, and the numerical controller controls the spindle drive unit such that when the tool holder is fitted to the spindle, in a state where the key groove of the tool holder is inserted in the spindle key, the spindle is rotated to press the spindle key to the key groove so as to determine the phase of the tool holder with respect to the spindle.
HORIZONTAL MULTI-SPINDLE MACHINING CENTER
The present invention relates to a machining center, and more specifically to a horizontal multi-spindle machining center, in which 2-axis (Y- and Z-axis) or 3-axis (X-, Y- and Z-axis) transfer drive units are disposed in the machining center installed to machine workpieces, in which a ram equipped with spindles is moved in the up-down, front-back, and/or left-right directions of the workpieces, in which the spindles are configured to include a plurality of spindles, i.e., 2 to 8 spindles, so that a plurality of workpieces may be machined simultaneously, and in which tool change is simultaneously performed for tools fastened to the plurality of spindles and configured to machine workpieces by using an auto tool changer (ATC), so that tool change speed may be improved and thus manufacturing efficiency may be improved.
MULTIPLE SPINDLE MACHINE TOOL
Provided is a multiple spindle machine tool which is capable of sufficiently preventing tool exchange failure due to cutting chips and improving the freedom of machine operation. A left and right magazines are provided in the tool storage chamber as an automatic tool changer corresponding to a left and right spindles. A right and left shutters, each of which is arranged to open and close as the left and right spindles enter and exit between the machining chamber and the tool storage chamber, are provided for each of the spindles.
Machine tool
This machine tool is provided with: a partition that partitions a machining chamber and a tool storage chamber and that has an opening; a shutter; and a receiving member that is formed so as to receive cutting fluid. The partition includes a sidewall member that extends in the vertical direction and an inclined wall member inclined in such a manner so as to become lower from the sidewall member to the interior of the machining chamber. At least part of the opening is formed in the inclined wall member. The receiving member is positioned beneath the shutter, and in such a position so as to receive cutting fluid that drops down along the sidewall member when the shutter is opened.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes: a spindle that allows a tool to be detachably mounted thereon; a tool changing device that holds a plurality of the tools, and attaches and detaches any of the tools to and from the spindle; a date and time storage unit that stores date and time when operation of the spindle is stopped last; and a calculation unit that calculates unused time of the spindle on the basis of the date and time stored in the date and time storage unit, when the tool is to be detached from the spindle, wherein in a case where the unused time calculated by the calculation unit is longer than a predetermined threshold value, the tool changing device performs detaching motion of the tool from the spindle for longer time compared to a case where the calculated unused time is at or less than the threshold value.
Machine tool and machine tool system
A machine tool includes a base, a table, a main spindle, and a trunnion unit. The table is installed on the base. A tool is mounted to the main spindle. The main spindle is caused to approach a workpiece on the table along an up-down direction. The trunnion unit is configured to rotatably hold the table on which the workpiece is placed using a rotation axis along a front-rear direction as a center. The trunnion unit is disposed movable in a right-left direction.
Method of assembling an automated modular tool
A method and apparatus are disclosed for assembling an end effector for an automated modular tool. A processor is programmed with data corresponding to a portion of a part surface at a designated location. A setting fixture is driven with a plurality of linear motion actuators to a selected three-dimensional location relative to an adaptor bar of the modular tool that is attached to a frame. A tool setting head is rotated with a rotary drive. A platen is tilted with at least one platen tilting motor and gear set to angularly orient the platen to correspond to an angular orientation of the portion of the part surface at the designated location. An end effector is then placed on the platen and secured with a tooling arm to the adaptor bar.
MATERIAL PROCESSING METHODS AND RELATED APPARATUS
The application describes a machine tool adapted and arranged to carry out removal and addition of material on a work piece located in a work station, the machine having a first head arranged to remove material from the work piece and at least a second head arranged to process the work piece, each of the first and second heads being arranged to be moveable in at least two axes and preferably in 3, 4 or 5 axes and wherein the machine is arranged to control an environment of the work station. The work station is at least partially sealable. The machine has a clean side and a dirty side. Novel processing heads particularly adapted for use in the new machine tool are disclosed. These may also be retrofitted to CNC machines. The novel heads include heads adapted to carry out two processes simultaneously. Heads adapted to carry out heat and pressure treatment are also disclosed. Use of the processing heads to carry out analysis in manufacturing steps is disclosed as is the provision and use of heads that can carry out analysis as well as processing.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a spindle configured to hold a tool, a tool magazine configured to hold a plurality of tools and to exchange the tools with the spindle, and a cleaning mechanism configured to remove adhering objects adhered to the tool magazine by spraying fluid to the tool magazine.
