PORTABLE PHYSICAL PARALLEL BAR SYSTEM
The present invention is directed to systems and methods for a portable parallel bar system. The system is easily folded as a portable configuration by resting one or more stanchions on a platform of the device. Transport mechanisms may be deployed for easier transport of the device. Cross-members may be employed to provide stability to the device when in the unfolded or in-use configuration.
Foldable parallel bar apparatus
A foldable parallel bar apparatus includes generally U-shaped first and second end frames and a set of handrails connected to and extending between the first and second end frames, wherein the handrails are foldable so as to move the first and second end frames closer to one another thereby compacting the apparatus. When multiple modules of the end frames are connected, they provide an uninterrupted path between the handrails. An alternative embodiment provides base platforms that are foldable relative to each other and handrails that are vertically and horizontally adjustable.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BODY WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A body weight support system includes a tether configured to be coupled to an attachment device worn by a user to couple the user to the body weight support system. A method of providing gait training includes defining a reference length of the tether when the attachment device is in an initial position and defining a threshold length of the tether. A first amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to a surface and the length of the tether is less than the threshold length. A second amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to the surface and the length of the tether is greater than the threshold length. The method further includes displaying data associated with the gait training on a display of an electronic device.
WEARABLE RESISTIVE DEVICE FOR FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING
A wearable device that enables adjustable resistance to the extremity of a user using an attachment system and associated eddy current braking system. The wearable resistive device can be used for physical therapy made necessary due to weakness caused by neuromuscular diseases, such as stroke and cerebral palsy, orthopedic disorders, general disuse, or even for overall fitness.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
A running exercise device is provided having a waist engaged belt connected to a first shoulder strap and second shoulder strap. Elastic bands extend between the waist belt and each of first and second leg bands positionable on the upper legs of the user. Lower leg bands may also be employed which have elastic leg bands extending between each lower leg band and a respective shoe on the foot of the user.
MOBILE UPPER EXTREMITY (UE) SUPPORTS FOR USE IN RAILED ENVIRONMENTS: CROSSOVER ARM DESIGN ASSEMBLY AND UNILATERAL UE SUPPORT DESIGNS
A patient aid assembly includes an upper extremity support assembly and a housing associated therewith. The housing slidingly engages a rail and allows relative movements therealong. First and second upper extremity support assemblies are received on first and second rails, respectively. An interconnecting member us hingedly connected to each of first and second housings that support the UE support assemblies.
Physiotherapeutic stair and incline system
A system including a set of at least three horizontal tread surfaces, and a drive system for displacing the tread surfaces vertically to form a set of stairs with a range of different rise heights. One end of a ramp is hingedly connected to the last tread surface so as to define a walking surface having a variable angle of inclination varying as a function of a vertical position of the last tread surface. The tread surfaces can assume a fully-lowered state in which the set of tread surfaces are juxtaposed as a continuous flat surface, and in which a support configuration supports the second end of the ramp so that, in the fully-lowered state, the walking surface of the ramp is horizontal, so that the tread surfaces and the walking surface together forming a continuous horizontal walkway.
AGILITY LADDER
An agility ladder includes a plurality of rungs, a left link assembly disposed between each rung and including ends pivotally attached to left ends of each rung, a right link assembly disposed between each rung and including ends pivotally attached to right ends of each rung, and first and second links included on each of the left and right link assemblies. The first and second links may be pivotally attached at a link pivot joint, where, through pivotal attachment of the left and right link assemblies with the plurality of rungs and pivotal attachment of the first and second links, the plurality of rungs are moveable from an open position where the plurality of rungs are spaced apart from one another to a collapsed position where the plurality of rungs are aligned adjacent to one another and are not overlapping with one another.
Agility ladder
An agility ladder has a plurality of rungs including first and second rungs. A left link assembly has ends pivotally attached to left ends of the first and second rungs, and a right link assembly has ends pivotally attached to right ends of the first and second rungs. The left and right link assemblies each include first and second links having equal lengths, with the first and second links joined at a link pivot joint which allows the first and second links to form an angle between them of less than 180 degrees.
Training kit
A system trains a sport player and includes at least one wearable item to be worn by the sport player, such that the wearable item includes a plurality of colors. Accordingly, each one of the plurality of colors is displayed on a designated portion of the wearable item. The system further includes a plurality of equipment devices. Each one of the equipment devices includes a color that corresponds to one of the plurality of colors displayed on the wearable item, Each equipment device directs the sport player to perform a specific operation, such that the operation is executed with the designated portion of the wearable item.
