20190118024 · 2019-04-25 ·

A foldable exercise chair configured with removable resistance bands to allow various exercises to be performed. An embodiment of the exercise chair allows a user to perform a full range of strength-training exercises and then fold the chair to allow for storage in limited space. This embodiment of the exercise chair is also able to be configured to suit a user's exercise routine by allowing for adding, changing, and removing the resistance bands, as well as modifying the bands for various resistance levels.

Lower body fitness apparatus for providing enhanced muscle engagement, body stability and range of motion
10265576 · 2019-04-23 ·

A lower body fitness apparatus is disclosed, which provides enhanced gluteal muscle engagement, body stability, and range of motion. The apparatus includes a base, a frame, a line-swiveling assembly, and a gripping device that is horizontally displaced from the line-swiveling assembly's swivel axis, allowing a user to stabilize themselves in tripod posture during exercise. Thus a user can perform full range of motion for any combination of hip extension and hip abduction under resistance transmitted by a line, all from a central standing position that substantially straddles the swivel axis. This functional framework of elements can be realized through a variety of possible embodiments. While the frame provides space for leaning during exercise, it may otherwise vary in structural design. The line's resistance can be generated by any means contemplated by one of ordinary skill, such as lifting weight, stretching an elastic band, bending a flexible rod, or other means.

A portable exercise device for exercising the muscles of the upper body and thighs. The device comprises a pair of elongate members having a body engaging element for receiving the thighs of the user to hold the device in a stable, fixed position, a spring portion that joins the elongate members in a generally parallel configuration, and optionally a pair of handgrips at the ends of the elongate members. Methods of using the device of the invention are also provided.

INTERACTIVE APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR MUSCLE STRENGTHENING
20190070462 · 2019-03-07 ·

An interactive exercise system with apparatus and methods to optimize muscle strength for rehabilitation, to improve or maintain fitness, and to enhance the performance of athletes. The system uses an electronically controlled linear actuator to generate resistance against the muscular force exerted by the user. The system includes sensors configured to detect acceleration, speed, velocity, position, direction of movement, duration, and the force applied by the user. A control system preferably continuously monitors the sensors, and instantaneously adjusts the adaptive actuator, This provides a proportional counterforce to the user force throughout the entire range-of-motion. A display panel allows the user to interact with the system in real-time, The objective of the user is to synchronize the exercise performance with a selected target goal, by correlating the user's movement relative to a position on a display panel.

A method of use and system of an adjustable, multiple routine, resistance exercise, apparatus having a single, continuous length of elastic flexible and/or stretchable tubing, banding, and/or strapping, formed in a continuous loop, by having the two free ends of the length of tubing, banding, and/or strapping knotted securely together, thus forming a continuous loop exercise device, having at least three scalable calibrated sections demarcated by a plurality of knotted sections, forming a chain of loops with knotted stays strategically spaced along the length of the formed continuous loop device.

Exercise machine handle system

An exercise machine carriage system which allows for a wide range of exercises while maintaining improved balance and control for the exerciser. The exercise machine generally includes a stationary frame and a carriage adapted to slide along at least one track on the frame. The carriage may include at least one opening on its upper surface to be used by an exerciser to perform a variety of exercises. The carriage may also include, either in combination with the openings or alternatively, at least one carriage strap extending across its upper surface for use in a variety of exercises. Platforms may also be included on either end of the frame, each of the platforms including its own platform strap. By utilizing such openings and/or straps, a wide variety of exercises may be accomplished that otherwise would be difficult or impossible to perform on conventional exercise machines.

EXERCISE APPARATUS

The present invention provides a multifunctional exercise apparatus for allowing a user to perform rowing exercise or other exercises. The exercise apparatus includes a frame, a sliding seat, a cord winder, a spiral spring connected to the cord winder, a cord connected to the cord winder, a flywheel for generating an exercise resistance, and one-way transmission mechanism connected between the cord winder and the flywheel. The user is able to seat on the sliding seat and slide backward and forward in accord with repeating movement of pulling the cord to perform the rowing exercise, or having lower limbs partially press upon the sliding seat and two hands grasp gripping portions at a front end of the frame to perform other exercises such as stretching exercises. When performing other exercises, a distal end of the cord is connected to the sliding seat and backward movement of the sliding seat would drive the flywheel.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY CONTRACTING BODY CORE
20190022459 · 2019-01-24 ·

Some embodiments of the systems and methods disclosed allow for simultaneous contraction of body core and adductor muscles. Some embodiments allow for a variety of exercises, including the isolation of various muscle groups, including the abdominal, back, and adductor muscle groups. Some embodiments also provide adjustable resistance levels.

Passive muscle training device and method for driving the same

A passive muscle training device includes a base having at least one first link and at least one second link. At least one first rod is pivotably connected to the at least one first link. At least one second rod is pivotably connected to the at least one second link. The at least one first rod and the at least one second rod each have a handle extending beyond the cover on the base. A power input end is pivotably connected to the first rod and drives an eccentric portion of a shaft to swing the at least first rod and the at least one second rod alternatively. The user holds the two handles and the user's muscles are trained by centripetal contraction and centrifugal contraction due to the movement of the handles.
